How to Find Your Nintendo Network ID
There are three ways to locate a forgotten Nintendo Network ID (NNID).
From The Nintendo 3DS
If you're using a Nintendo 3DS, open the System Settings menu and choose Nintendo Network ID Settings. Your ID is displayed on the sign-on screen, below your nickname.
From the Wii
If you're already signed in to the Nintendo Network on your Wii U Deluxe or Wii U Basic, and need a refresher on your ID, it's easy to find from your Friend list.
-
Press the HOME button.
-
Tap Friend List on the left.
-
Look in the top-right corner. Your Nintendo Network ID is displayed in orange.
From a Web Browser
Are you locked out of your account because you can't remember your Nintendo Network ID? Visit the Nintendo Network ID Retrieval page and follow the directions.

How to Reset Your Nintendo Network Password
If you're having trouble remembering the password you initially used to secure your account, visit the Nintendo Network Temporary Password page. Enter your ID and the email address linked to your ID, and you'll get an email with a temporary password.
After you sign in, change your password to something you'll remember.
When you sign in, check the Remember Me option, and you'll be logged in automatically for a month. Don't use this option if several people share your device or if you're playing on a device that doesn't belong to you or is in a public space.
