Date of shipment order # ****b5634fab7be717b65d88 Shipped 4/12/2024 Delivered, received 4/15/2024 Buyer messaged that item was nice but smelled smoky. The item did not smell of smoke and was in like new condition shipped in a bag in a box with tissue paper and the shape of bag maintained with paper and plastic. My prior sales have been 5 star and comments stating only perfect products.The buyer has not initiated a return and has the item to use. Poshmark support was emailed right away and they responded that the buyer must contact them to return. So, now I am out the item which retails for over $200 and out the payment while the buyer has the item.Business response

On 4/5/24 I purchased a jade ******* under the order of 6610bf99fa87b821be432262. I had contacted Poshmark on 4/6/24 about my concerns regarding their legitimacy for authenticating fine jewelry over $500. On 4/8/24, Poshmark received the jade ******* for their Poshmark Authenticate system and kept the item until its delivery to me on 4/11/24. After immediate receiving of the item on 4/11/24, I requested for a return due to color difference. Color difference qualifies for a legitimate return reason as noted on their policy. I have attached photos of the color difference in natural sunlight (as mentioned on their policy). After 2-3 days of being in Poshmark Authenticate, they failed to contact me about color difference. On 4/12/24, Poshmark denied my return request/marked order complete. On 4/12/24, ****** contacted me agreeing to the return. Seller also contacted Poshmark regarding this approval of return. On 4/12/24, I reached out to Poshmark Support again regarding their policy & additional photos. On 4/13/24, I reached out to Poshmark Support with photo proof of the sellers approval to return. On 4/14/24, I received an email from Poshmark to rate their agents decision on the return/case resolution. No responses were made to my emails on 4/12/24, and 4/13/24. On 4/14/24, Seller asked if Poshmark contacted me. As of 4/15/24, I did not receive continued communication, nor a shipping label provided by Poshmark for the return. **** value is dependent on color, even between slight shade differences. Clearly this is a difference between apple green and aventurine green. No matter how you change the monitor brightness, a difference is visible. Surprised Poshmark Authenticate did not catch that in real life. I wish to receive a return shipping label, promptly return the jade ******* to the Seller, and receive my funds to purchase something else from her. Her stellar customer service has kept me from directly filing from the bank. Photos of evidence attached.Customer response

Apparently they already refunded me on 4/14/24. I have attached a photo of my discovery via PayPal Chat about that refund on PayPal.

I ordered a pair of jeans that never came.The problem is.It is impossible to stop the unimaginable amount of emails per day from Poshmark. This should be illegal. They need to be stopped. I do not want any email from them but apparently theyre coming from all different people because no matter how many times you unsubscribe and **** it junk. It never ends !I dont have all life to continuously delete the ******** email from this stupid company. They need to be sued or they could pay my bill to buy me some more storage in my email.!! I would never buy anything from this company due to the fact that I am terrified to be bombarded by email worse than my one attempt to purchase ********** item..things go viral on social media in LA takes one person to start it and it wont stop and soon nobodys gonna buy from this company if they dont stop it ! Look at the amount of complaints. I tried to order one pair of jeans. (that I never got ) What if I attempted to order something else? Would I get a 100emails per day?? They are torturing people people are screaming all over the Internet and they need to be stopped. Thats all I have to say please let me know what it will take to never see Poshmark show up in my email again, and I will be happy along with millions of other people.Thank youBusiness response

I sold a pair of pants 03/20/24. The payment was released 03/31/24. I have not received the payment and they refuse to answer my emails. Im not asking for anything that isnt rightfully mine, I just want the $$ that is mine thru the sale of my item. Its not about the amount of money, its about the fact that theyre with holding my funds, lying about it AND avoiding my emails concerning the question about why I havent received it yet. They take full advantage of their customers by not having a toll free or regular customer service #, where simple questions can be easily answered.Business response

And to be clear - Im confused about the absence of communication from the business re. a simple question, that if answered, would have solved the confusion about a missing payment for the sale I made. They said they released the funds (this means the money would have gone into my bank account). At no time was I consulted about another form of compensation, credit, gift card application to a purchase, etc. Neither did I request any such thing. Again, if they would have responded to the simple question about why I had not received $$ from the sale, I would not have contacted you.

I ordered an item from Poshmark that was not as described and could not be authenticated by a third party. The item had undisclosed damage and did not match to real ****** from the same time. I submitted a couple of requests and the dispute is still pending without Poshmark communicating anything.Business response

Once the return package has been delivered to the original sender, Poshmark will process a full refund within 24 hours.

I made an order but it hasnt arrived. Poshmark told me to wait a week basically and it still hasnt arrived. They told me all these hoops to go through but its not my responsibility as the buyer to make sure the package is delivered to me. That is on them as the business to do so. And they have not issued a refund for the order.Business response

I was on the poshmark website viewing a live auction. A notification was across the screen stating $1.99 on first auction purchase. At the far right side of the notification was an "x" to close the notification. As I hit the "x" once it did not close, I hit it again and it closed. Within 10 seconds I heard, "ssdmorris congratulations you won the ************* purse." I immediately went into the chat stating What? I did not purchase this item" and got no relief from the seller. I immediately notified Poshmark support, in fact I sent them 10 messages and got a boiler plate response back stating, ******** are binding. Please see the attached email letter sent to Poshmark detailing what occurred and reddit comments regarding similar experiences other have had with the Poshmark auction bidding problems. Poshmarks actions should be addressed and sanctioned. They are getting away with fraud and in my opinion are stealing people's money. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Poshmark's action are contrary to what they indicate in their email response. They have ignored every email that I have sent and keep sending notifications that they have authenticated the bag and are shipping the bag to me. They have not addressed any of my issues and in the response to your agency all they state is that they are investigating my issues. There is no specific response and I would appreciate your staying involved in this matter until they send a specific response.

04/06/2024 I was selling a pink coach *******. In confirmation email I hit the accept funds and input the information requested. Right after every dollar in my account was taken. When I said something to them they apologized told me that it was only supposed to take $2. They took $117.93 and $131.01 then kept trying after I had moved my last $11 from my account to savings. They then provided me with a link telling me that's how I will get refund and to input information. I did and their system said they could not refund my money unless there was $208 in account. I have emailed them. They have not responded.Business response

I was scammed by poshmark. I had over $1000 of seller earnings in my poshmark account. I requested a direct deposit 8 months ago. There was a glitch in their system and it said in process. I was told to wait. Month after month went by and several emails to support, I keep getting robot responses someone will look into this and be in touch, then they ghost and no one actually reaches out. This has been ongoing for 8 months now. I messaged their social media account to ask for an email address to reach a live person but they will not give me an email or phone number and was told its a different team and the same thing, someone will be in touchNot once has a human being followed up on the support tickets I keep opening. Nor has anyone tried to help.Poshmark owes me the $1145.56, I have been patiently waiting but after 8 months this falls into being scammed, so Im ready to escalate this matter. I joined Poshmark today and posted a pair of boots, puffer coat, IPod. I received and email regarding the boots with a link to set up payment. I tried but it didnt work. Not long after three fraudulent attempts were made on my credit card - 2 x $169.33 and one for $81.96. I contacted my bank and luckily they will reverse immediately, but had to cancel my credit card. I received a message to text a person regarding the iPod. They asked for photos of the item so I sent a video. They tried to pay $500 but was declined. They sent me a link to contact Poshmark regarding declined payment. I received an email from **** said I had to purchase $100 Apple card when I refused, they said I could send it through PayPal and gave me an email address. When I refused, I received a text message from ******** at Poshmark basically stating that I had to do this because the funds that the buyer sent were in limbo I said that couldnt be true because the payment was declined and pretty much threatened me with legal action because I deactivated my account and did not send the hundred dollarsBusiness response

Poshmark will not ask for or require a prepaid gift card in order to activate a listing. The communication that the user received did not come from ********************** and it is likely a Phishing email. We highly recommend that the user reach out to their banking institution regarding this transaction.
We advise that users exercise extra caution when receiving communication that is asking for personal information. Poshmark will never contact users to request personal account information. Please note that all official Poshmark communication will end in a @poshmark.com email domain. Poshmark does not offer text message support.
