Re-linking my PayPal account.

I have changed my PayPal account password and so my phone is asking me to, "Please sign in to PayPal to link again or try a different payment method." The problem is that the only way I know to sign in is what is provided in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201266

This, however, means that when I try to sign in to the same payment method it simply states, "This payment method has already been added to your account."

I continue, then, to try to remove it first and it prevents me saying, "Unable to remove - There is an active subscription on this account that requires at least one payment on file."


What I am wondering is if there is something else I have to do in order to link PayPal again.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble updating your payment method for iTunes. I’m happy to help.


If you tap in Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Manage Payments. If you tap on your PayPal account, you should be prompted to enter the password.
