The government has taken various steps towards creating a digital India. Providing
free WiFi in public places is one such step taken by the government.
Last year, the internet and technology giant Google Inc partnered with the Railway Telecommunication Company RailTel to provide free WiFi services at the railway stations.
The
IRCTC passengers can now avail the free WiFi facility across leading lines and railway stations that are connected through the network provided by the RailTel.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to access Google RailWire Free WiFi at railway stations:1) Open the WiFi setting on your smartphone
2) Search for available networks
3) Select RailWire network
4) Open the railwire.co.in webpage on your mobile browser
5) Enter your 10 digit mobile number
6) An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Use this OTP as password to connect RailWire
7) Now you are successfully connected to RailWire and start using internet for free
