8tracks announced a new feature to their iOS mobile app Wednesday (March 21) in partnership with Spotify.
The internet radio service has teamed up with Spotify to deliver music based on users’ specific taste, in a more organized manner. Users will now be able to automatically save favorited tracks from the 8tracks app and transfer them over to a Spotify playlist — “8tracks Discoveries.”
This new integration is intended to offer listeners a more curated experience by introducing them to lesser known artists, while still getting a dose of their favorite acts.
To transfer your playlist, one must download 8track’s latest iOS app version, then sign into their 8tracks account to connect to their Spotify account, then the playlist is automatically created and rest is handled.
