Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) designed to simplify teaching and learning by connecting all the digital tools teachers use in one easy place. The Canvas Parent app allows parents to engage in their children’s education by providing access to important class information. The Canvas Parent app flyer  or video shows the easy steps available for parents using iOS or Android devices and can easily be configured in just a few minutes.

Canvas Access

Get to School	1- Go to sso.browardschools.com
Enter School	2- Sign-In, with student number(username) & Password/PIN, to get personalized LaunchPad   Username: Student ten digit 06 number (example: 0601234567)  Password: Windows (Active Directory) password or Office 365 password (example: PMM/DD/YYYY)
Get to class	3- Clicking on Canvas tile 4- Using the “Courses” button on the left-hand edge
Enter Class	5- Read any of your teacher’s announcements at the top of the page and then look for your assignments below.
Teacher Interaction	6– Will be provided using live video conferencing, prerecorded video, and Canvas messaging. Each teacher will provide specific directions.

In addition to more materials for all students and additional resources for learning at specific grade levels, ESE, Bilingual/ESOL, and other communities will also be found.
