There is no real way to "delete" your Fanfiction account, but getting rid of it will make it virtually impossible to find. Whether you don't want your boss seeing your Sherlock smut, or you're tired of bad reviews, this article is for you.

Steps

Unfortunately, you will not be able to delete your comments, so these will stay with your account.
Using an obscene picture for your profile picture will get your account banned, but this is not a mature way of disassociating the account from you.

Once it expires (which is usually minutes to hours later), you won't be able to log in.
Once you do this, there is no going back.
Be sure to disable password savers for this website so it does not remember the password.

If they have already read and commented your stories before, there is a chance that they will know who you are. You probably shouldn't worry about that, because if you change your password, and never log back in, you already have deactivated, in a way.

If it's just their username, your PM will most definitely arrive. If the person disabled their option of getting PMs, the PM won't come through.
