Hotmail sign in issues

Is anybody else having issues signing into Hotmail?

I have used my iPad Pro to access my email account via outlook live.com for the past year using both Google and Google Chrome browsers with no issues at all.

A few weeks ago I had trouble with the in email links (mainly Ebay saved search emails) freezing the iPad.

I managed to solve this issue by downloading and using Opera as my main web browser but was still able to access Hotmail.

Now I am unable to gain access to my Hotmail at all, no matter what browser I use!

All I get is a message saying: Something went wrong We can’t get that information right now Try again later.

Very frustrating as I can still get access to my Hotmail account on my Samsung phone and on my computer at work, it only seems to be on the iPad I can’t get access.

It is up to date with the latest software version (12.4.1), any ideas?

I just used my Safari browser to log into my hotmail account and it worked, no issues.


Perhaps you can try this alternative solution and use your Safari browser to access your hotmail account again: 

To clear your cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tap Remove All Website Data.
