So much for my enthusiasm. I thought joining a dating website such as Japan Cupid would lead to happiness. Minutes, I mean minutes after joining, I receive a message. The guy was a total pervert, illiterate disgusting person. Then again in the same hour, same type. Then a third time. I deactivated the account. Are there any decent people looking on this site? Japan Cupid, do you even watch what goes on? I want to avoid all dating sites now. DIsgusting, can't get it out of my mind what happened.

Very well organized website. The women are real, but most can not write English very well so sometimes it's hard to communicate. Also, seems like all the women are looking for husbands. Weird approach to life. LTR first maybe?:)

Filipino PROFESSIONAL cheaters asking money! I reported id# ******* by the NEW NAME Jiana Ushiku, previously same crook by name Gina Fe Alvarez Ushioda, send a lot of proofs to administrator, they covere these Filipino scams and fraud! Stay away, you're dealing with profesional organize crooks!

Used to be an ok site but it is nowhere near worth the price. Inbox is flooded with messages from fake profiles and people from 3rd world countries just trying to get visas. Complaints to admins get YOUR profile restricted. A wide open search of Tokyo showed less than 50 girls who had been online in the last month: Total waste of time.

Very low amount of japanese women on this site and when there are some many of them are inactive.
I'm now very suspicious of any chinese profiles. Almost all of them that I got messages from seemed like they were scammers - i think everyone needs to be on guard when seeing a chinese female profile. There looks like a major chinese scamming campaign going on in dating/matrimonial sites - there needs to be some kind of investigations into it. At least japancupid seems to ban these profiles.

Japan Cupid is a waste of time and money.
Barely anyone contacted me, I had more interaction with foreigners and Japanese women in there 40s and above. I had a lot of people trying to scam me either by trying to make me join a website called af meet, the old scam of money for nudes. A total waste of time. Please don't used Japan Cupid. It has deeply poisoned my love for Japan that I decided to cancel my trip to Japan.

I've got so many messages from fake accounts using photos of Asian men pretending to be Japanese. We Japanese can easily see that those are not even photos of Japanese so I just block and move them to the trash bin every time.
And I've received likes and messages from several elderly American men living in Japan, and when I did not reply, they sent me unbelievable-abusive words later.
I'm sure they are so frustrated when they pay money and never get a reply from anyone that they lash out at women. Maybe it's on sites like this, the people's true nature come out...
I have reported them, I'll see whether Japan cupid properly bans them or not do for money.

Full of fake profiles, especially of (pretending to be) Chinese girls that after a while try to lure you into some (apparently profitable) financial transaction. I mean, it would be ok if the site were free, but I am paying a hefty montly fee just to see thii poor checking on the profiles. Thumb down

Fake profiles abound or attempts to redirect users to other sites. Buyer beware. To cancel they ask for more money.

I seriously have doubts about this site. I joined up, used my credit card to make a payment, the money was taken from my account within 5 minutes, then got blocked saying i needed to verify something which I did. They then told me they had reversed my payment and I needed to make a new payment to them. I don't trust them

They permanently suspended my account for offensive behavior. I only messaged one person and I was a gentleman to her. My profile had zero offensive information too. They never provided a reason. Joke of a company. Not my fault if there's a language barrier. Scam company in my belief that fishes for your info.

Don't waste time and money, they string you along and you have to buy more credits to communicate with other profiles

They are probably only after your money, if they see you won't pay they terminate your profile.
Since they did this on my new account as a new member, I reccommend you pay at your own risk.

So many fake profiles and so many fake Chines scams profile page in there and not so many Japanese women in there More Filipino Chinese Looks like an International dating site to me Too expensive and it's not worth it other people of other nationality sign in for free but we have to pay

Not paying your stupid prices just to message back women when I can do the same on other dating apps for free

I was happy to see a website for Japanese dating, as I always felt my morals/personality aligned more with Japanese culture than American. However, even after showing them my ID (which they probably stole information from), they STILL deleted my profile almost immediately with no explanation. I tried e-mailing them and got no response... probably just a fake website used to steal your data and sell it, it's super sketch that my profile got deleted even after sending them a photo of my ID. Pretty screwed up.

It's been a year since I've seen this person from this site and I'm sick to my stomach to report to you there's some sick people here what are sex addicts especially when it comes to dating American women they have no respect whatsoever I've changed my whole feeling this International thing I know it'll only almost lost my life dating this person because of his infidelity it's been emotionally. Full of fake profiles, Golddiggers, passport hunters, sugar daddy hunters and madwomen.
Most of the women on there are there because Japanease Guys don't want them because they are just crap women.
Japan cupid is like trying to find a diamond in a manure pile, most women on there have been round the Block with their lives and body's more than a Taxi in Newyork.
If you do find one that gives you a good time make sure to wear protection because most on there are in contact with hundreds of Guys.

May I tell the truth? This site is a piece of $#*!. They terminated my profile, they didn't send me warning email, just boom, I cannot entered one day. I wrote an email to the support team (they say, they can reply in 24 or 48 hours), they didn't reply to me. I was very angry, because I had many conversation, and they just deleted my profile. I think, they use member's ID, that's why they determinate profiles...
Don't use this site, they stole your personal data...

All the people that I met via this website is complete loser and/or sex addicts. Even Japanese who are registered this site is a complete moron. It's exhausting to have some reasonable expectations before seeing the person, and get disappointed each single time. Terrible site.

This is not "Japan Cupid", but "Indian/Nigerian/Pakistan Cupid". Too many scammers and old gross men from these poor countries. I came to Japan Cupid to meet Japanese men, not black, white, or Indian men. Why are earth are these fools giving me hearts when I specifically said I want a Japanese man? I have better luck just moving to Japan. Too much hassle to swift through the sea of scammers, losers, and grandpas.
