How to log out of League of Legends Client?
STEP 1: X Button
Once in the client, you will see a Cross (X) button on the top right corner of the client. Click it and proceed to Step 2.
STEP 2: Confirmation Box
A confirmation pop-up box will appear on the client with two options – Exit and Sign Out. Select Sign Out if you want to logout of your account but keep the client open. Select Exit if you want to logout and shut the client as well.
Remember that if you have chosen the “Stay logged in” option while signing in, you have to click Sign Out to log out of the account. Clicking exit when this option is on will simply close the client and not sign you out from it.
How to log out of the League of Legends Website?
STEP 1: Right click your name
Once logged in to www.leagueoflegends.com, you will see your Summoner name in the top right corner. Simply clicking the summoner name will open a drop-down menu to help you sign out.
Once the drop-down menu is open, you will have to look for the “Logout” option which is usually at the bottom of the list. Once you click the button, you will be logged out of the website.
And Voila! You have now been logged out from either the League of Legends client or the League of Legends Website and the thing is, this not only works for League of Legends, but also for every other Riot Games Game produced so far. How to log out of League of Legends – Different Methods
Through Task Manager
If the methods we’ve covered earlier in this article haven’t worked for you, you can try to logout of League of Legends through the Task Manager application (If your PC is on Windows OS).
Keep in mind that if you’ve enabled the option ‘Keep me Signed in’ while you logged in, then ending the task will not actually log you out. You should also keep in mind that this method will only work for the League of Legends client, which means that this won’t work if you want to log out of the League of Legends website.
