Texture Errors
When I finally installed Portal 2, I opened it and the textures were messed up (Purple and black boxes) and there where big ERROR signs everywhere. What did I do wrong? Did I install something wrong? Please help

The purple flag (AKA THE PURPLE AND BLACK BOX TEXTURE) means you are missing textures. The error signs also mean you are missing textures. Steam may have forgotten to install a texture for portal 2.
