When Girl Scouts are ready to begin their Gold Award Take Action projects, they must first appear before the Highest Awards Task Group to obtain project approval. Girl Scouts will be invited to present their projects for approval when they have completed the process of submission and review with a mentor from the Task Group.
Silver Award proposals and final reports are also reviewed at this meeting and should be submitted at least a week before the meeting.

Ready to bring Archery to your girls? Become a USA Archery Level 1 instructor! Learn to set-up and operate a safe archery program, teach new archers, maintain equipment, and identity and correct common shooting errors. Once certified, you'll have another way to offer Girl Scouts new and exciting experiences, including the use of our new bows and arrows at Camp Mahachee!

This in-person course teaches you how to perform high-quality CPR on adults/infants, use an AED, and treat a choking victim. It also incorporates basic first aid skills in bleeding, burns, physical injuries, allergic reactions, seizures, and more. Your certification satisfies GSUSA CPR/AED and First Aid requirements.
Cost: $30/person. This price includes your AHA Certification.
Location: Camp Mahachee
This program, and Camp Mahachee's new AED device, are generously supported by City Furniture.

Join the GSTF Astronomy Club for another stellar year of exploring the cosmos.
This girl-led club is open to Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts. Learn to use telescopes, discover the night sky, and share your passion for astronomy with others!
- Monthly in-person meetings at Camp Mahachee (plus special locations!)
- Hands-on activities, observing nights, and virtual sessions
- Flexible attendance - you choose the dates to attend.
- $30 registration includes all events, supplies*, a fun patch or pin, and access to our Virtual Guiding Stars Series

Sept 6, Oct 25, Nov 15, Dec 20-21 (Campout*), Feb 28-March 1 (Campout*), Apr 25, May 16, June (Field Trip)
*Overnight campouts may have additional fees and material costs.
