They are scammers. They scammed me out of money by taking it back after filing a dispute for their customer, who claimed she did not receive an item she bought from me. Their customer then informed them that she did receive it, but they will not return my money. Ivonne in the fraud department is indeed fraudulent! I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Ft. Wayne, Indiana today. Don't fall for their scams!

We loved 3 Rivers Federal Credit Union when we moved to Indiana. Not any longer!!!! We are looking at pulling all of our accounts out of this bank. We have sent so many others to this bank for loans and bank Accounts and really regret doing that now. I spoke with the Credit Solutions department about some problems and needed help with. I was told I Would get a call back with an update the day or the next Morning. I didn’t get a call at all. The next day I sent an email and I got an email back that I would get a call back by the end of the day. I never got a call from them! I spoke with the Manager of the Credits Solutions department expressing my frustration with lack of communication and a couple other issues. I was told I would get a call back either Monday or Tuesday and got excuses why I didn’t get a return call. It’s called update the client regardless if you have information or not. You don’t just leave people hanging not knowing what is going on! The day is almost over and I sent an email again because I haven’t got a call AGAIN!! I am so disgusted and furious with the lack of respect and communication. I suggest that at this point stay clear of loans, banking, or anything at 3 rivers federal credit Union.
3 rivers federal credit union is pretty fantastic compared to most other local banks and credit bureaus. They take time to listen, make it easy and don’t have their own agenda with you as a client.
Very unsatisfied, been banking with 3 rivers since I was 16, now almost 40 and I'm about to close my account!!! Especially unhappy with horrible overdraft fees, literally go over $2 be charged $33... Much rather bank with a company who actually looks after their costumers rather penalize them!!
I've had issues with TRFCU on occasion, over various things, but have always let it slide. But - the other day, I damaged my business debit card, and called TRFCU to get a replacement sent. I was on hold for 28 minutes before a young lady answered the phone - almost a half hour, only to have her tell me it would be 7 to 10 business days to receive a replacement through the mail. A little longer than I was expecting, but whatever. She then said I could stop by any branch and have one printed on the spot. That's what I did. I went to the branch closest to me - Dupont Rd at I-69. I explained to the young lady how my card had been damaged, and asked for a replacement, which she printed in short order. All good so far, UNTIL I went to use my card later that day. I was able to make my purchases, but when I checked my business account online the following day, it showed no transaction nor pending transactions for my purchases. After deeper investigations, I found that my purchases were coming out of my wife and I's personal account. Somehow they attached my replacement business card to our joint personal checking account - which is absolutely not good. With that, I called TRFCU - and was in queue for 43 minutes before giving up and hanging up the phone... FORTY THREE MINUTES!!! That's a disgrace TRFCU!!! That's terrible customer service on anything, but especially something as important as this, that could have had a major impact on our personal account! Fix it TRFCU!!! There's absolutely zero excuse for anyone to be waiting for one of your employees to answer their call for 43 minutes or longer!! I've been to your branches on countless occasions, and no matter the day or time, there's someone who can take a call, especially knowing incoming calls don't go to any specific branch. Calls can be answered by any available associate at any branch. You're not that busy!! Make branches and employees accountable for this or it'll only get worse. By the way, no matter the time of day you call, or what day you call, you'll hear the same message, that they are 'experiencing high call volume'. No, you're experiencing high 'I don't give a crap volume', and that's what you need to fix.

I went into the bank in New Haven, IN. Normally I've always had a positive experience but today some young 20ish year old girl was rude and disrespectful. She flat out lied to me about my checks which I asked to be ordered and they infact had not been ordered. Then she got nasty toward me when I adjusted my mask. She kept being nasty when I asked to have some checks printed to hold me over until I received the other ones in the mail. Then she was rude again when she practically threw my ID at me. She did not say thank you and have a nice day like all the other clerks. This girl should be fired!!

We have been members of 3Rivers Federal Credit Union for about 2 years now and we have nothing but good things to say about our experience.We have a checking account with them and customer service is great and they have various useful features on their smartphone app such as being able to deposit a check without going to a branch. We currently do not have any other products through 3Rivers. but based upon our experience we will consider them the next time we have a need.
I have been a member with 3Rivers Federal Credit Union my whole life. They have competitive rates for just about everything (from car loans to personal loans, and even their credit cards). The only issue that I have had is with the overdraft fees. Occasionally, charges get delayed and then an overdraft fee is slapped on. However, talking with customer service usually clears it up. Overall, each branch has very friendly tellers. Many get to know you on a first-name basis. This greatly enhances the banking relationships of their customers. This is definitely a great local alternative to the big nationwide banks! I am definitely a highly satisfied member of 3Rivers and will stay as long as possible.

3Rivers Federal Credit Union is a very trustworthy credit union which takes good care of your financial requirements. I have a Basic Checking Account with them which required a $25 minimum balance to open it. If you want to avoid their $5 monthly maintenance fee, you must keep a minimum daily balance of $2,000 in your account. They pay you monthly dividends upon the deposits that you make. I also maintain a Savings Account with them which has been specially designed for young people and is called “Livin' Free Savings Account”. It offers great ways to save your money and even pays you to save. It is very simple to open with just a $25 minimum balance requirement. You also earn monthly dividends which are calculated on your daily balance. So far I have loved these features and will recommend this credit union to all those who are looking to manage their finances really well.
Three Rivers is definitely one of the best credit unions in the northeast corner of Indiana (and also in Ohio). I have had my account for a little less than a year now; however, I have had nothing but great experiences with it. They have lots of locations scattered about, the service is great, and the mobile website is easy to navigate when I'm on the go. They also have many offers for opening accounts, such as for those under the age of 25 and great for those in college. Overall, Three Rivers is excellent and definitely my pick of credit unions in the area.
Normally when I think of credit unions I think of one location and a bit inconvenient. However with Three Rivers Federal Credit Union you get multiple locations which makes banking with them so much easier. Granted they are not located on the other side of the country so if you are traveling it is still difficult, but it is nice if you are at work you can go to one branch, at home another, across town another. With one branch it is hard to do necessary banking with a credit union but Three Rivers makes it very easy with all their branches. The personal service you get does drop a bit with multiple branches but it is still way above anything you get from the large banks.
