Today, I want to talk to you about a brand-new option you have in respiratory protection from 3M. It's something that has remained relatively unchanged until now.
The 3M™ Secure Click™ HF 800 series half face piece respirator. It will be available in a full face, it's just not out as of yet.
A couple of key features to note here. It does have a passive speaking diaphragm which allows you to talk to coworkers without removing the mask, which is a plus. This blue button on the front is for performing your user seal check. So, where you, in the past, would have to cover your filters on a traditional mask, you can now just press this blue button and have the same effect.
And now the greatest feature, which makes it the Secure Click™ is the filter attachment. So basically, it just, clicks in, and you have the same levels of protection, particulate, organic vapors, acid gas as traditional masks. It just comes in a more comfortable and innovative package.
To remove the filter, you just simply press this blue button on the front and pull out. It does have a larger airway opening, which is going to make it easier to breathe as well. Just another feature.
