The miso glazed chicken was quite good yesterday too.

I’ve got the same options available on my upcoming FCO-DFW in early August.

After a couple of weeks travelling in Italy I may go for the Indian option.

Did anyone end up trying the beef rendang? I'm leaning to the Salmon myself.

I can second how good it was, although the sauce made for a little bit of a sloppy presentation. Highly recommend!

They took down public access to those (internal) pages more than a year ago. I think it was late 16 or early 17. No way to get to them anymore

If it's not too late: My wife and I took this flight two weeks ago. She approved of the halibut and I thought the Japanese meal was very good (later, in Tokyo, I learned how good a traditional Japanese meal can be!).

Here is what was served on our ORD-PEK flight last Nov in Y. Pretty close to what you had.

Any additional recommendations between the options below for DFW--NRT in J? Has anyone tried the Japanese meal (besides Catcher1 above)? I'm deciding between the Japanese meal and the (overcooked) Filet.
  • Traditional Japanese Meal Traditional Japanese Meal selected for Salt Grilled Striped Bass with tender simmered pork and steamed rice
  • Porcini Crusted Filet Mignon Porcini Crusted Filet Mignon selected chanterelle mushroom corn pudding, roasted asparagus, Café de Paris butter
  • Bourbon-Glazed Salmon Bourbon-Glazed Salmon selected fig and roasted pepper orzo, sugar snap peas, cherry tomato
  • Santa Fe-Style Enchiladas Santa Fe-Style Enchiladas roasted squash, baby spinach, queso fresco, grilled corn

Thanks for the pics but small picks: I believe AA does not have the 5th freedom between HKG and NRT, so AA170 should be NRT - LAX instead of HKG - NRT.

Flew home on AA25 on July 6 and had great service by the crew in biz on the 757. Both were very tasty. Didn’t get a photo of the Mizo chicken supreme but it was delicious. The sauce was just right and the chicken was moist. Followed by the lemon tart. Great meal and great service. Enjoyed the seat much better than the seat on BA’s upper deck.

Appetizer served together with roll. Very tasty.

I’ve completely given up on beef choices in J. The past 3 have been inedible and I’ve ended up tossing them after 2 bites.
