hi Guys, i am new. BSNL gave me one user name and portal id. I use portal id for checking my Account Usage. but i cant use the username to login the mail service in the link mail.bsnl.in It says incorrect username or password. What should i do? shoul i contact the BSNl Customer care?Reply SoonRegards,Chandru

Try to access mail from data.bsnl. in . Make sure the username entered is not in the format username@bsnl.in or username@dataone.in. It is just username.

Please mention which one you have @dataone.in or @bsnl.in

Its not working. i cant login with my user name in data.bsnl.in. But i can login with my potal id. Then i clicked the Mail at top of the webpage. But it still asks for user name and password. my user name is not working. What shall i do?

Do you use a dialler ? If yes, you can check the username there. If in PPPoE mode, log into the modem and check the username. If all fails, there is no option but to contact the exchange. They will keep it in records, won't take more than a minute to recall.

Your BSNL email ID will receive alerts when you cross the usage limit. This can be achieved by registering for SMS alerts.

Go here mail.bsnl.inEnter your username and the default password is "password"

1.Dataone WebMail Main web site.


2.Login for abcd @bsnl.in

3.Dataone Mail Client Configuration

4. Incoming
use smma.bsnl.in ,nmma.bsnl.in wmma.bsnl.in

5.outgoing smtp
smra.bsnl.in nmra.bsnl.in wmra.bsnl.in

6. Unable to test as I have abcd @ dataone.in.
working at website No 1 above as well as in OE.
