Never tried Admiral before

Never tried Admiral before, had heard of them of course but in all honesty I thought they were expensive and overrated. How wrong I was! Not only did they completely blow away my current insurance provider with their price they sorted everything in moments. What's the use of having a mind if you never change it? Thanks Admiral, you challenged my perceptions and won!

Best experience thus far

Best experience thus far. Easy to compare options with concise breakdown to what suits me. Compared to my renewal quote from my current insurance and other quotes Admiral was by far the cheapest and covered all covers with no extra cost. Very pleased!!!

I needed to insure another vehicle as…

I needed to insure another vehicle as well as my current one, after a search the new policy was without no claims bonus as this was on my other car, £253.00.
Was excellent and enquired what they would quote for my first car, they beat the renewal by £200 which was incredible, it came in at £153 and the old quote came in at £389. So I get 2 cars insured for £50 less or there about, it’s a no brainier, I was so impressed I purchased house insurance too, for £108 p.a.
I think the guys name was Steven or Stephen, he was brilliant! Thanks To him, I’ve saved a fortune

Your representative was very friendly…

Your representative was very friendly and helpful made note of my hearing problem and was very patient.
We feel we made the right decision picking Admiral for our house insurance thank you for all your help and guidance

Website was straight forward navigating…

Website was straight forward navigating it. However, on the way to payment it asked for many ad-ons so not sure what full insurance covers these days. My quote is still very high considering my age, years of experience and never had any accidents or claims.

I was so pleased to get my home…

I was so pleased to get my home insurance at a very good price but also with all the cover I need. I took my insurance out with Admiral after 5 years with my other company as the product was very competitive

Top class service and insurance…

Top class service and insurance premium. Very rarely do I use the same insurance company for anything. Admiral now have two cars out of three, and will have the third at the end of its present policy. 👍

Thorough and helpful staff....

I had specific questions not easily answerable on the website so phoned to discuss, very helpful and thorough staff included a call back at the agreed time to complete the discussion and sign me up. Competitive price too, thanks!

Rescue dogs

Your website questions do not allow anyone with a mongrel rescue dog to estimate its date of birth or its ancestry. These aren't often known for a rescue mongrel. As such I have no idea if you will honour any future claim, should one be neede, as my information may not be spot on.

Decent car insurance

Call handler was helpful, patient and spoke clearly....and the price was cheaper compared to other big names. Hope that's still the case when it comes to renewal...if so...I'll be a long term customer.

Already sending customer service feedback requests!

Only signed up the other day and already getting surveys asking me to rate customer service. I signed up online and so far have not spoken to customer services so have no clue if they’re any good. At least give me give it a few months or be sure I’ve interacted personally with your team before contacting me! This is lazy automation.

I am not good with internet

I am not good with internet, so I phoned and actually spoke to someone on the phone and was able to get the right car insurance for my needs. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful..

Took three days to get call answered

Took three days to get through by phone. This included one 70 minute wait which ended with me being cut off. We have three polices and I was trying to add a fourth under Multicover. Telling a customer the average wait time is 10 minutes, when the reality is anything up to and including more than one hour is very poor.

Limited payout and poor service

Had an annual travel insurance policy with admiral. Had a trip abroad planned for a funeral where I was to return over a 36 hr period. I was flying out of Luton airport and was travelling down on the day of the outbound flight when the M1 motorway was closed for 3 hrs. Due to this I missed my flight and missed the funeral. Admiral took 2 weeks to get back to me after I submitted my claim and refused to pay out on petrol spent travelling to Luton (I continued to the airport to try and get the next flight, which I was subsequently late for). Really awkward and poor service from the advisor and no empathy at all. When you take travel insurance you expect all aspects of travel to be covered, especially under such circumstances. Poor service and claims dealing.
