I recently migrated to post office as broadband and phone provider. I use Thunderbird for email.
Although I still receive emails automatically when I boot thunderbird, when I try use the “get mail” tab I am prompted to enter my “mypostoffice.co.uk” password. When the password is entered I get the message “Mail server pop3.mypostoffice.co.uk responded:Login failed” The post office helpline directed me to the post office portal where I logged in ok using the password. The helpline bod then said its a thunderbird problem sorry can't help!
When I try to send emails I get the error message Client host rejected access denied.
Anyone any suggestions?

I had this problem a few years ago with a previous build of Thunderbird. This was with my own domain emails and bt email. Sorry I never solved it. I tried all settings i could think reset it all the time. In the end I gave up and went to another mail client where I had no problems0

Please check the incoming and outgoing mail server with thunderbird and your host provider.0
