I'm trying to sign in with my XBOX Live account on the main page in the game, but each time I click the sign in button, it automatically stops loading, so I can't officially get in. I am able to load my profile fine from Multiplayer and progress my achievements, but I can't sign it to finish the first challenge in the Age of Empires I: Definitive Edition celebration. I'm automatically signed in to my account in Age of Empires I: Definitive Edition each time I open that game. Why can't I connect in II?

The event challenge requires you to sign in to Xbox Live, but I'm not able to.

I use Outlook for my Windows log in, and I used it to sign into AoE2:DE when I had a month of Xbox Game Pass PC and played the Windows Store version.

But now when I input my "xxx@outlook.com" I get "this mail address is part of a reserved domain, please use another mail address".

When i press the button to log in, nothing happens, can someone help me?

The same happens to me. And this is so bad because i cant complete 1 of the missions

It's awful. Keeps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with your login credentials and the game shows up as "unusual activity on your account." Live can get bent

I'm having the same issue. It tells me "There is a problem with your Microsoft account. To fix this, sign in to account.live.com from a browser." I do that, but gives no further directions. Not sure what to do.

Dosn't really help, when i press the button to log in, it gets disabled for a second or two then nothing happens, no error codes nor any pop up window, incidently, it works fine for AoE 1 DE.
