Don't Bank Here
I first started banking here around 2006. There were no issues. About six or seven years ago they started changing how they do things, and it's damaging their relationships with customers.
I've had numerous issues with them recently, but the most significant is that today, when calling in to verify a charge on my account, they tell me that NO ONE is available to help me. In a statewide chain of banks, with a corporate office and a call center, there is not a single person who can address my call.
How ridiculous.
I'm closing my accounts. It's unfortunate what they've deteriorated into.

If you’re looking for a loyal bank, who has your back stay away from this bank and find another bank that you can trust. I have a joint account with my wife but also for over 15 years and with a few minor hiccups here and there nothing major and have always been able to resolve it satisfactory. Well, roughly 4 months ago I wanted to take my wife to Myrtle Beach for her her birthday we’ve never booking.com.com before but we found a good deal for a hotel for $600 for three nights quickly signed up did everything we were supposed to do are instructed to do but we never got a confirmation number for booking.com, and like most everybody, anybody in their right mind, was trying to freak out that they got hacked with all the online scammers and hackers if you make it worse during the middle of the night my wife got an email saying someone just logged into her booking.com account so we just knew for sure we have been hacked so immediately again like almost any other body will have Don call our bank report fraud charge of $600 to booking.com, we then spent the next seven days frantically calling messaging emailing booking.com 50 times a day never ever ever got a response back at this point I just knew we were hacked and I might never see my sister-in-law‘s again unless my bank did the right thing and protected me like all banks are supposed to do, well, long story short, after another three months of back-and-forth with the fraud department at Allsouth federal credit union they kept a Sharing us. Don’t worry you will get your money back. Don’t worry you’re not gonna be taken for $600 don’t worry don’t worry it’s all part of process then we got a letter in the mail, saying, no fault to booking.com, as we never attempted to get in touch with them and you will lose your $600 like a big fat slap in the face Mae being a member at Allsouth for over 15 years but never a issue meant nothing to them. I have so much proof that we tried and tried to get in contact withbooking.com , but the bank does not want to hear our story they do not want to hear me out and show my proof where I am right they just want to be done with it and just handover my $600 hard earned money. I talked with a lawyer who said they could get my money back but of course it would cost more than $600 in court fees and sign documents, so in the end I just got taken by booking.com and my supposedly loyal friendly Allsouth bank did nothing to protect me and just let me get screwed. Just as soon as I can get all my stuff together I am leaving this horrible, horrible institution and will find another bank that is not only better but someone that will go to bat for me after building a relationship if need to be that what you want in a banking institution not these guys sorry for the long with you, but just trust me you do not want to bank with these guys ( Allsouth Federal Credit Union). Horrible mobile deposit service. Who ever heard of a 2 day hold on a mobile deposit. Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, bad

AllSouth Federal credit Union will accept your deposit, post your balance, when you have an automatic pull from your account. Your available balance then becomes what would be left over after the pull, but shows the total account balance of the available balance and what is being held. They then take the money out of your account, . Example. To start... You have an available balance of $100. An automatic payment scheduled for pull comes in (AB=$100) (-25). Acct bal is still $100, however the available balance now becomes $75. They have already subtracted the $25 to make your (AB) $75. when it pulls they take an extra $25 . Leaving you with a balance and available balance of only $50. It has happened to me for every transaction they do on my account. So for every pull they pay the automatic pull, and take an equal amount to the pull, doubling the amount being pulled. Therefore double pull for everything. If I knew how to report them I would. So in wrap-up. ($100-$25=75) left available but they are in every transaction posting ($100-$25=$50) why are you stealing from me ALLSOUTH FEDERAL CREDIT UNION? This is every transaction. How do I get all my money back. It's is in the $1000s.

They are great and lowered my interest rate. I used my credit score and was able to take my dad off my loan and now have it in my name and lowered my interest rate.

This bank, AllSouth has the worst customer service skills I ever experienced. They are not willing to help you at all. Not even meeting the customer halfway or even one step towards rectifying the problem if you suggest options. The answer is always the same, NO or unfortunately blah blah blah. Then with the snarky and cold attitude you get on top of things is enough for me to switch banks. That kind of lousy customer service comes from the top down. Goodbye AllSouth!!
