Same Level of Cover for fraction of existing company

After getting a quote of double last years premium from Saga and speaking to them I decided to use the daily mail offer of compare the market and found Autonet. I got the exact same level of cover as Saga for £200 cheaper.

Offered a very competitive renewal…

Offered a very competitive renewal price, hopefully should the need arise if a claim is made that you will expedite immediately.

Although it took a while it was no longer than a phone call normally takes but it was more relaxed online.

Car insurance

Went on comparison site to get car insurance and the price comes up, so thought good deal but when you fill all the stuff in again it comes at a higher price.
When you contact them they say it a ,£40 fee for arranging it so not the best deal, should be made clear before you spend 20 min filling in the forms.

It's so straight forward and easy to…

It's so straight forward and easy to set up. The paper work was sent, there was no jumping from here to there to get all the information, you just scroll and read. It's been the easiest online set up I have ever done. Everything went through first time and responded to immediately.

Don’t know what happened but I had…

Don’t know what happened but I had great difficulty communicating with you to pay for my quotation.
I tried several different ways ,days and times.
Will saved the day by completing the transaction, he had difficulty in understanding what had happened?

Bang on the money

Call was handled well

Call was handled well. All information given as asked.
Paper documents received and all as to be expected.
Only problem was phone call was a bit of a problem in hearing call handler; lot of background noise

Always like to phone up and speak to a person to run through everything so l know I've made no mistakes and all is good. Lady who dealt with me was very helpful and polite and went through it all with me.

Online portal doesn't let you register

Online portal doesn't let you register. Says it's sent email to verify but email never arrives. Reported and just told to persevere as always problems with it. So can't manage insurance online. Hard to get in contact with Autonet as all emails received do not allow replies. Alternative online chat is a long wait. Lets hope i never have to make a claim!

I keep getting nuisance calls from what…

I keep getting nuisance calls from what sounds like an Indian call centre. They say they are calling from Autonet. Sorry if that's not you, but you should be aware in any case. I report each call to the ICO, so hopefully they will be investigated at some point.
