Literally the worst thing I've ever…

Literally the worst thing I've ever signed up for. all the data is available for free on Proactis, sell2wales or other government portals.

Every "contact" or "lead" in the system just says visit the protal.

Utterly useless product

26/9 update: I was contacted, nothing changed, product still useless

5⭐️ support from Tim Maddocks

We’re an international organisation that sells security fencing to the worlds most iconic sites.

Our UK operation is still in its infancy and we looked to Barbour, and their competitors, for support in streamlining our lead generation and project identification.

Barbour by far exceeded expectation and the support we were given by Tim Maddocks has been second to none. For the small initial investment we have gone for Tim has treated us like I imagine he treats his highest paying accounts.

I cannot rate Tim and Barbour highly enough.

Going that extra mile!

We've just had a visit to our offices with Jayne to help unlock our further potential using Barbour ABI.
Jayne has been a huge help to our business. The clear delivery, personality and knowledge was clear from the out set. By coming to the office this helped my colleague and myself learn at a faster pace, all by going that extra mile!!
We've been opened up to the chat aspect too. The replies by an actual human and not a chat bot are again, a further example of going that bit extra!

I have recently moved roles within my…

I have recently moved roles within my own company meaning I needed more functionality from Barbour ABI. After numerous attempts to adjust this within my own company for weeks, I reached out to Katie and she was able to assist within minutes. Going above and beyond to also supply me with a helpful video to demonstrate how to make the most of the added functionality. Thankyou!

Barbour ABI is intuitive and insightful to use, even for the new user, intuitive software coupled with a really helpful and responsive help chat with Lira it's easy to keep growing in knowledge of the system as you go along. Grow as you go !

Nearly all the company information is…

Nearly all the company information is out of date, job roles for companies are missing, the number of contacts is very low. They only really have information for the client and architect. For the same price as glenigans, this is ridiculous. Would not recommend this service.

The information is in date, information is only missing when it isn't available, and we only add compliant records. Some companies may scrape the internet for additional information, however we prefer to only add verified information that we have ourselves verbally confirmed with the company/contact.

Simon went above and beyond regarding…

Simon went above and beyond regarding our re-sign, I didn't make it easy for him as I have previously work with an alternative platform. Not only did he take the time to uncover our needs, he was kind enough to work on the price, arranged a support follow up call with a system walkthrough and checked in with me again this morning regarding smaller works. Overall a very easy process, credit where it's due.

A Powerful Tool with a Great Team.

First of all Barbour is an absolutely brilliant tool for lead generation in the Construction Industry. I really can't do my job to the level I like without it.

Second of all the team are all great. They are clued up and patient with their clients.

Thirdly, I'd like to give a shout out to Jenny Wood, she's always looking to go that extra mile for us. First class Account Management with a smile. Any issues or help needed and she'll be there for us.

Highly recommended.

without ABI my job would be so much harder. They are always able to respond to the queries within minutes, will do research on the merest snippets of information and somehow come up with the goods.

Saved projects

I was having problems with my saved projects on Barbour ABI Nathalie saved the day, checked my account at their end then advised what may assist at my end, clearly advising the process. voila all sorted.
Great response, prompt efficient and informative.

Understanding our business

Joe, my ABI manager completely understands our work needs, during our last meeting he had anticipated the majority of questions that I had ready for him. No matter how small if ever any of my team need a steer there is always someone to step in and help.

Excellent friendly customer service

Excellent, friendly customer service, Jenny was extremely helpful.

I was given plenty of information to help me get the most out of the system. She answered all of my questions and spoke me through how to access different areas and updated our search to be better suited to our company and arranged a 1-1 training session.

Following the phone call I received a couple of follow up e-mails too.

Customer Service

First thing on a Monday morning and I couldn't access the online portal. Within a minute I was speaking to Kate who identified the issue and emailed through a set of instructions. A minute later I was back up and running again. Genuinely one of the quickest and clearest solutions through a customer support service I've experienced in a long time.

Joe was EXCELLENT

Joe turned up on time and dressed very smart. He was happy, smiling and a really nice guy.
He has a wealth of knowledge and is excellent at answering our questions. He delivered an excellent, easy to understand, informative and interesting training session. He has a real skill at training and advising.
It was refreshing and made a nice change being in the company of someone that didn't represent a "robot".

Excellent customer service & live chat function

I logged in to find a project but couldn't find it with the traditional search terms so I sent a message to the live chat. Lira responded quickly and found the project immediately. Excellent customer service.
