What You Need to Know

  • The discount amount and program eligibility remain the same.
  • The new card can only be used on BART.
  • The new card will have an airplane design so you can easily distinguish it from other cards.
  • The new card will have the Clipper logo because BART is using Clipper technology, you will continue to use the new card the same way with the new Airport Employee Discount Program Account Management to manage your card- not Clipper.
  • Once we fully transition, your old card will no longer work.

If you are an Airline employee without a UPID number, please contact the SFO Business and Career Center by calling or texting 650.456.7966 or emailing community@flysfo.com to obtain a UPID number to migrate your account.
