Battlefield Bad Company 2 - unable to login soldier

since last thursday i can't login to battlefield bad company 2.

i always get the error message "unable to login soldier"

i found some info on the web about some server problems regarding user names with capital letters and a new soldier with lower case letters helped.

But actually i want my old account with all the weapons.

any fix for this ??
 
This is surprising coming from the company that shuts down MP servers for console games after 1 year?

Nothing EA can and will ever do .. will surprise me.
 
Holy shit, this is still an issue??!? I couldn't log-in on Friday and just let it sit over the weekend - I would have never guessed that I still wouldn't be able to play. WTF.
 
bf:bc2 on Steam is the ONLY game that crashes my computer after playing it for 30 minutes each session. So I feel your anger, maybe not directly related to this issue, but I seriously cannot trust any games from EA anymore.
 
it almost seems they did this on purpose to force people towards the new battlefield. :(

Do you happen to run MSI Afterburner? I think pretty much any program that handles over clocking or fan speed for your gpu will crash the game after 30 minutes.

I run MSI Afterburner on my 680s with no issues while playing BC2.
