So slow!

In the past used the website for accessing many good recipes but now it’s so slow to load it’s impossible to use.

I have been using the app for a while…

I've been using the app for a while now, but the most frustrating and impractical limitation is the inability to export selected recipes as a grocery list. PLEASE add a grocery list function! How is this not already a feature? Unfortunately, I’ll have to switch to another service because of this.

Recently signed up for the PAID subscription and it's incredibly slow, plus if you select the 7 day meal plan, be aware not all ingredients are listed in the shopping items. So frustrating and no way to contact anyone. Incredibly sad as this could be awesome

BBC Goodfood Scam!

Ordered the BBC Goodfood magazine, and sister magazine, taking up the offer of 5 issues for £5 each magazine. Confirmation of order received and satisfied that I had made the deadline to receive both Christmas editions.
The next correspondence received in spam box was confirmation of direct debit for considerably more money to commence with immediate effect?
Contacted customer service via email which was a complete waste of time even though I had sent screenshots of the confirmed order.
Made phone contact today with customer service and dealt with a very professional and friendly person who, still unable to sort the issue, cancelled both subscriptions.
If I had not checked spam box I would have been charged an unexpected higher amount and I believe is underhanded amounting to a scam.
Be aware of this practise.

I can honestly say that this is the…

I can honestly say that this is the best vanilla ice cream Ive ever had. Its so simple yet so perfect. The texture is thick and creamy, and the ice cream melts slowly in your mouth, creating an experience that feels like pure luxury. The flavor is sweet but not overpowering, allowing the natural vanilla to shine through. Every bite is rich, velvety, and comforting. Ive had it plain, with chocolate chips, and even paired with fresh fruit, and its always a delight. Sometimes, the simplest things in life are the best, and this vanilla ice cream is a perfect example of that. Its an everyday indulgence that never fails to satisfy.

The app is so slow

The app is so slow, it reminds me of dial up in the 1990's.
Definitely will not renew unless this improves.
Such a disappointment as I have been a fan of bbc good food recipes for many years and love them. The app lets the whole thing down.

So frustrated with GoodFood.

So frustrated with GoodFood.. Have subscribed for a number of years and have built up a collection of recipes. First the app kept dropping all recipes colllections. Now having reverted to accessing
through the website, all saved collections AND recipes have disappeared. They are not contactable by the phone line provided and don’t reply to emails. I’m cancelling my subscription.

Truly awful new app

Truly awful new app. I understand the need to outsource it and was willing to pay a subscription to access the wealth of recipes, all of my saved collections and - the real gem of the former site - the comments and chat from the online community. The loss of all my collected recipes is incredibly upsetting. The loss of the community support and feedback is absolutely tragic. I will be cancelling my subscription.

Why on earth have bbc brought this out…

Why on earth have bbc brought this out apart from to make a bit of money. I had saved a recipe earlier in the week for free on the website but hey presto when I came to cook it at the weekend it was now only available if I paid for it. The same happened the next week. This is a con! The recipes are only app exclusive if you save it to use later it seems or the recipes are your favourites already. Really poor BBC.

Insufferable pop-up ads make recipes almost impossible to read.

Recipes are usually good/helpful BUT using the site on mobile is inconvenient at best.
Switched to the laptop to help my mum with a recipe and the god-awful adverts on each side of the web page would glitch out the page and scroll it downwards every time they finished their loop - so every 5-10 seconds, while I'm trying to read out each step clearly for my mother across the room. Imagine having to read it WHILE actually baking, and your hands aren't free or clean to scroll back up.
The site isn't user-friendly at all.

Dreadful Magazines!!

Don't waste your time on these magazines. My daughter bought me a years subscription and to be honest if I'd be interested in making 5 or 6 recipes out of a year of magazines!! And even those weren't great. Dreadful waste of money!!!! Save your money and avoid this pretentious rubbish!!
