Terrible customer service. This year I called them more than a handful of times for many issues which includes card deactivation for fraud, missing transfer button in the mobile app, phone number authorization issues, NFT checks it’s a whole mess and I will no longer bank with them at the end of this week..
A bunch of gonifs with no clue about 21st century digital banking. I have had nothing but problems since I transferred both my business and personal accounts here three years ago. They can't accept Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal instant transfers and won't allow ANY digital banking third-party apps to communicate with business accounts. They charge $6 fees for ACH deposits, costing my company more than $500 in the past two years. There are ALL kinds of hidden fees and restrictions. I had high hopes for this local bank and they disappoint me at every turn. I'm shopping around now for a new bank - BEWARE OF BREMER!

Worst IT ever. Mobile app rarely works and phone help is an unsatisfying maze. The online interface is antediluvian—time to hire an IT designer.

Worst bank I ever met. Didn’t credit a $400 check. Let welfare scumbags that make more money steal from my credit card and would never return funds. Multiple overdraft and late fees(that weren’t late) charged hundreds for. Bank is slimmer than the thieves that stole my money. Don’t use this bank!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst bank ever. My friend is sounding suicidal right now after she was suddenly told her account must be shur down and this for no reason at all . Imagine she has w9,000 in the account and supoorting kids etc now suddenly they close it down. No explanation, nothing.
Worse banking experience ever. The entire loan process was a mess. The lack of follow up, and rescheduled closing dates, almost lost us our contractors. Today I called to payoff a line of credit and the customer service rep was rude and didn’t help at all. Again I had to drive to their office to get things straightened out, And TO PAY it off!! I closed most of my accounts and would never recommend using them.

We applied for a mortgage loan with S.O. of Bremer Bank. We loved a home to purchase and she and her team gave all the green lights to go ahead and that we can get the loan, so we put an offer. I had my conversation with her and her assistance twice and they sent me the letter of agreement and I submitted all the required documents. Not only me, also our agent with tens of years of experience did not have any clue that it might go wrong. So we put an offer, the home was withdrawn from the market, we called for inspection, got insurance for the home, set time for closing and prepared for packing. Even Bremer Bank sent valuation of the home and unbelievably everything were set based on S.O.'s recommendation. The last minute, she called me that it did not work and that I cannot get the loan. It was a crashing moment for me and specially my wife. To some extent suspicious to us!!! Anyway, if we knew that there is even slight possibility that they break their words, we could have plan B to get loan form another source. But unfortunately, we had to cancel our offer and lost the home. Since then, we have not found a home that we like. Very unprofessional it was the way we were treated. Not recommended!
High overdraft fee. Won't reverse more than one a year. No exceptions. Even if your account has been in good standing over a decade and you have a balance in other accounts. Very un personable during phone calls. Not the family feel bank it used to be years ago. No flexibility at all. Looking to close my accounts soon because of this.
I am very dissatisfied with Bremer Bank in Brooklyn Center and how they handled my disabled daughter's checking account when she overdrafted her checking account by less than $3.00. After i took off 3 hours of work to meet with the manager, the manager could not give me an amount to settle while we were there! She had to call someone else and call me back later another day!!!! So i had to take off work AGAIN and pay cash to Bremer. I received a receipt. In the meantime, the full amount went to collections! We received the letter today, which is dated March 20. This is NOT right when we were settling this with Bremer's manager; how sad to do this to my daughter and I, just to make a few extra bucks!!!

I am very satisfied with Bremer Bank. They have great customer service and are always willing to answer any questions that I may have. I have had nothing but good experiences with Bremer Bank. If you use a MoneyPass ATM, there isn’t a fee, which is nice. I would definitely recommend this bank to my friends and family.
My wife and I have had our checking account for nearly 10 years now. They definitely have a nice local feel which is why we have stayed. As far as our checking account goes, we have always had a smooth relationship with them and any time there have been bumps in the road, they have quickly resolve them. I would highly recommend Bremer to anyone who wants to get away from a national bank.
Bremer Bank is relatively new to our area. I have been banking with them for a year without any issues. The one complaint that I do have is their overdraft fee is a bit expensive. They don't have any minimum balance requirements and they don't charge small fees for scrupulous services, such as paper statements, so they make up for it there. Well worth banking with!
I’ve had a Bremer Bank savings account since I was in college many years ago. When I first moved for college I opened this account it has been active ever since because I have had such great service, thus no need to close it. I have always received great customer support when dealing with this bank and specifically this savings account. They offer standard rates of interest and I have been able to use this account in several different ways including overdraft protection or as an alternate to my primary savings account. I highly recommend this service.
I have had savings accounts with Bremer Bank for about 3 years after being referred by my neighbor who is a Personal Banker there. I started with a money market account and after a year, opened a youth savings account for my son. I have recently moved some money into an IRA managed through Bremer as well. I have been satisfied with the options Bremer provides and would definitely recommend them.
