very easy class, read the chapter, take a quiz, do a discussion, rinse, repeat. two essays which are both easily graded. The midterm and final were the only thing difficult. questions are sometimes niche and ambiguous. a study guide would make this class better rather than just rereading an entire textbook to study for final.

Respected professor, great classes, discussions, as long as you participate in all the assignments its not hard to get an A, just study and ask questions if you have any, he responds quick.

Great professor, very understanding and is reasonable, is there for his students. can be slightly tough grader but as long as you do all your assignments and participate you are set its not complicated at all to get an A in his class by far one of the best I say. Would take a his class again with no hesitation.

I took the Narcotics ID course. It was definitely interesting. Professor Carr's involvement with law enforcement gives him plenty of credibility to teach the course. I believe this class should be set for online only. I missed a lot of class, he does notice when people stop showing up. Book is necessary for weekly essays. Not much to do in class.

His class was really interesting! He really makes you learn the material so you can apply it to your everyday life if necessary. Overall, I would take anothe course with him if I had the choice.

One of the best teachers I've had hands down. You don't have to go to class, his power points are mainly the summary of the book. It does help going to class, he wants you to understand the law and not memorize it. You do have an online quiz after every chapter but are easy. As long as you do the work you will pass his class.

Great choice for a CJ teacher! He makes class interesting with his lectures and shares a lot of his experiences with us. He is a funny guy which helps pass class time. To pass is very straight forward. Show up, participate, and a reading response weekly.

Phil Carr is the best teacher I have ever had. He is very clear and takes time to answer questions and explain the material. Definitely a great class and teacher.

Phil is an awesome instructor and I have taken two of his classes. His class is not hard, all the quizzes are online and answers are right in the book, you just have to read here and there. He is a funny guy and I Recommend him for all your CJ courses. you wont regret it

Professor Carr is very concerned that his students learn the material well. He provides good feedback and makes the course interesting by encourgaing his students to shares opinions but does encourage that statements are backed up which helps with critical thinking. Professor Carr also provides opportunities to succeed.

Mr. Carr is an amazing instructor I highly recommend him. He is clear and covers all the material, all the quizzes are on blackboard; read the chapter before taking the quiz because all the answers are in the book no tricks. Read and go to class, he cares for his students and if you come up to him and ask for help/advice he is willing to listen.

Online Intro to Criminal Justice. Basically, read a ch, do a quiz each week. Two papers req'd, but he grades them super easy (100% on both for me!). Lots of extra credit 'discussion' posts online. Easy class.

he is really understandable, he cares for his students and keeps them informe.Atending class helps because everything that is in the quizes he covers it. read your book before taking your quiz it actully helps a lot. over all he is a great intructor.

This was an online class. It is my opinion that Mr. Carr is not a good teacher for online classes. He would post assignments each week which varied in time-needed; sometimes writing a paragraph, sometimes 2 pages. The short-notice and inconsistency made it hard to plan ahead and fit the work into my schedule. Typos abound on the tests! C-

Carr is the most awesome teacher EVER !! He is very good at what he does, his classes are always interesting because he know what he is talking about. He gives his Quiz's online and if you take notes and read the textbook, you will surely pass his class. I always try to get in his classes. One of the best teaches I have had.

Carr is one of the best teachers I have had. I try to make sure I get him for all of my criminal classes. All the exams and quizzes are online, and if you read the chapter or take the notes in class you will get an A. No problem. He is a great teacher, very understanding and actually funny. Recommend him 100&.

Carr is one of the best teachers I had this semester! All his text and quizzes are online! Its a lot of notes but if you take down the notes youll get A's on all the quizzes! He keeps it interesting and he knows his stuff. Just take the notes and you'll pass the class

Awesome guy and teacher. He explains everything really clearly, and his notes are great. if you dont come to class, make sure you at least read the chapter assinged in the book becuase you'll fail the online quizes.

Mr. Carr is absolutely one of the best teachers I have ever had. This guy knows his stuff, but if he is not sure he will find out and get back to you. Hs classes are not extremely hard but you have to earn your A. I would recommend his classes to anyone.
