Welcome!

As a district of educational choice we serve students across Florence, San Tan Valley, and Queen Creek, Arizona. Voted the Best Public School District in the East Valley for 2024, FUSD continues to be a District by Design, Not by Chance, ensuring that every student has access to quality education, dedicated, highly qualified educators, and innovative learning opportunities. With a strong focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and 1:1 technological learning, we equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for success in both college and career pathways. We recognize that families have many choices when it comes to their child's education, and we are honored that so many choose Florence Unified. Our focus remains on preparing students not only for success in school but for life beyond graduation. Thank you for being part of the FUSD family! #FUSDachieves

FUSD Testimonials "Why We Love FUSD"

Academic Intervention Specialist at Florence Elementary

Mrs. Fryhover, Acadmic Intervention Specialist at Florence Elementary

"I've known I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in 7th grade, Mr. Rosenblooms class. I love being a public school teacher because we serve the vast majority of students in our communities. Our doors and our hearts are wide open for our students. That means teaching them, helping them, and loving them!"

Senior Student at San Tan Foothills High School

"Foothills people are pretty cool, we make a lot of connections with teachers and students. After I graduate I want to start working right away to help students with special needs and this school has prepared me to do that!"

Academic Intervention Specialist at Walker Butte Middle School

Mrs. Johnson, Academic Intervention Specialist at Walker Butte Middle School

"I love our schools because of my peers and students! Some of my best friends are teachers that I've worked with, and some of the moments that I am the most proud of and that I look back on fondly happened in the classroom with my students!"

Teacher at San Tan Foothills High School

Mrs. Spoor, Teacher at San Tan Foothills High School

"I love public schools because of the diversity and the real-world, hands-on experiences they provide students everyday. We are unique and each bring something to the table that benefits another."

Senior Student at San Tan Foothills High School

"I like being here at a smaller school, the connections I've made with other students in Florence are better. Going to school with the same people for so long, we were able to grow up together and create lasting friendships."
