In 1951, a group of federal employees founded the Caribe Federal Credit Union, a nonprofit institution organized and administered under the federal cooperative act. From the beginning, its intention has been to serve federal employees in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Today we are one of the largest and most solid federal cooperatives in Puerto Rico with over $384 million in assets. Our mission is to educate our members in order for them to make better financial decisions and further better their lives.
