3rd time buying dj equipment from this company,and everytime item had to be returned,once a mistake,second convenient third never use agin...items are not tested when brought

I have bought 3 watches from the Halifax store over the last month ish for good prices. Served by lee on all 3 occasions. The last one was a smart watch, but with the wrong cable. Lee actually spent time checking all the cables to get me the correct one. Thank you lee for excellent customer service.

I have had many dealings with the Watford branch and they have always been pleasant, friendly, and very fair.

Recently both of my parents died in close succession, and being self employed and having to nurse both to the end, I was in desperate financial straits. All members of the branch were very understanding, sympathetic, and helpful during that time, and I want to particularly mention Katie, who really went the extra mile in her support and care; always trying to achieve the best outcome for me.
She is a great ambassador for the company and an absolute gem.
I have nothing but praise for this branch of Cash Converters, and would thoroughly recommend them.

I had a great buying experience when dealing with Cashconverters Southend branch. A company should be judged by how it deals with problems when they arise as this is where most companies fall down. Southend were helpful and polite after I had a problem, and their helpfulness has certainly encouraged me to continue dealing with them.

Ordered a battery for a power tool, never worked and wouldn't charge either. Total waste of money, obviously wasn't checked before it was sent out to me.

Spoke with Damien today from the Telford branch. What a top bloke. He took the time out to adivise on a second hand purchase that I had made and was also, very knowledgable about UK legislation and law regarding the sale of second hand electrical goods. Would recommend this member of staff to all potential buyers. Thanks for your help Damian.

We bought a used laptop online for £300 sent from their 'Ashton Under Lyne' store. It arrived with a physically broken USB-A port, which they should have checked before advertising or posting. We complained by email, they immediately offered us a full refund or £60 refund, and we chose to keep it and have the £60 refund. The money arrived back on my card without me having to pursue the matter. Good communication & customer service, happy customer, would use again.

Order item online said excellent condition. But when it come it's broke with dents in it and can't even b used and looks like it's been bent so it won't even open up and writing is scratched off bit on the charm. not what the shop said the condition was

WOW! .... just been reading the 1 star reviews.
I've just bought a Joseph Gleave updated 1.5 kw electric hot plate, stated new from up north, Ashton Under Lyne. Never realised they used DHL. The tracking no. that was given wasn't recognised, so no surprise there (well it is DHL).
Anyway ... it did arrive reasonably quickly, for my expectations, the Inner box was unmarked surrounded by bubble wrap, nice touch, and it is new. The outer box it came in had seen better days, thanks DHL but when it was delivered the driver said it almost wasn't because the address was hard to find. .. Believe me, my partner's address is one of the easiest to find. Never an issue in 18 years!
To cap it all up, everything went quite smoothly considering and my partner is happy with the new item.
However, if i'd read the 1 star reviews first, not sure i'd buy from this company again and although that's a little unfair as everything was as stated, i would definately try to change their despatch company.

I stoped off at waltham cross Cash Converters. i was meet by a wonderfully polite and knowledgable lady named Christine, who showed me a few pairs of headphones Sennheiser make. She then used her own phone so i could compare quailty.

I bought two pair of headphones and left well happy and very impressed with your member of staff and her helpfulness

It appears they are unaware of consumer protection laws, stating that companies policies over ride the law of the land. When I start being assertive and raised my voice they threatened to call the police!

I've been using Cash Converters for years, there great you always get good deals and fast shipments, even cheaper then Cash Gen. My only issue is they need to improve on is checking, testing fully before shipping it. Sometimes its faulty, this happens every now and then with them. Maybe best to have 1 employer to check items fully all day before shipping it.

I arrived kinda late in the day to buy an Apple iphone 15 pro max, I was genuinely surprised that they didn't know all apple phones since X/10 are dual sims (1 slot, 1 esim) and that depending on the phone service provider one can have up to 4 or 5 telephone numbers on the handset.
Regardless of the hiccup, I bought the phone and was set up with my dual sim by the end of the day with O2. I would definately recommend the Bedminister for the location, service, patience and ease of service.

Order from their site got traking and on 22nd february it went no further, didnt receive the item. Refusing to reply to emails and messages. Filed it with paypal and its still under review. Its now the 26th of March I still have no goods and I dont have my money back either. Avoid at all costs or buy with a Credit Card. Paypal taking forever to resolve this.
