It is based onMoodle. To use <strong>CCLE</strong>, you just need a web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) and a <strong>UCLA</strong> Logon ID. The course sites for several<strong>UCLA</strong> schools and divisions are automatically created on <strong>CCLE</strong> each quarter (see list of participants here:https://www.ccle.ucla.edu/about/participateList.html). To get access to these course sites, the assigned instructors and enrolledstudents just need to log into <strong>CCLE</strong> and locate their course links under “My Sites”. You can also request a collaboration site by goingto https://ccle.ucla.edu/login/index.php. <strong>CCLE</strong> collaboration sites can be used for many kinds of online collaboration includingprojects, committees, task forces and interest groups. Faculty, students, researchers and staff are encouraged to use <strong>CCLE</strong>'scollaborative workspaces to share and exchange documents and information that is not restricted to a particular course, and that caninclude participants from outside of <strong>UCLA</strong>.Caveats:Tips:Must have a <strong>UCLA</strong> Logon ID. Support for <strong>CCLE</strong> sites is from your local IT group. Don’t use Safari.Request a kickoff training session to get the most out of <strong>CCLE</strong> from the start.How to get Started:• No installation necessary. Just make sure you are running either Firefox or Internet Explorer (not Safari).• You will need a <strong>UCLA</strong> Logon ID to log into <strong>CCLE</strong>.
