I was treated like a thief in the Port Adelaide store. I needed to leave the store to move my car as I was parked in a half hour zone. I willingly opened my back to show the security guard on the door. He asked me to move my glasses case so he could look underneath. Which I did. On returning to the store and collecting my prescription he watched me. Both times while in the store I didn’t even look at or touch anything just left my prescription and waited. On exiting the store I willingly offered my bag for inspection again and lifted things up for him to look underneath. I felt so uncomfortable with his accusatory attitude I had to defend myself by asking if he needed to frisk me.

My brother was refused his medication at the east keilor store in Melbourne after the manager accused him of stealing a pair of glasses. He lifted his clothes emptied out his pockets and still she refused his meds. He came home very unwell as he suffers severe anxiety especially the fact that he had no medication or scripts as they were at the pharmacy. I went in to retrieve his script. I asked to speak to the same manager asked her what happened. She told me she had it all on camera. I asked if she’d called the police she said no because she went to lunch. I told her I wanted her to call the police immediately to check the cameras. She was extremely rude to me as well. She put her hand up to stop me talking and walked away from me. She told me I was being aggressive when I wasn’t. I just wanted answers as to why she’d accused someone of stealing when they weren’t and refusing him of his meds. The pharmacist came to speak to me when the manager left me standing there as she’d picked up on the treatment of the manager. The pharmacist spoke to me kindly and gave me the scripts. You could tell she was extremely embarrassed by the action of the unprofessional ‘manager.’
Hello there, Yesterday Mon May 27, 2024, I purchased 2 items Wagner Vitamin C & Reclens contact lens solution. I paid at the counter where I left my pretty multi-coloured red, long umbrella. I rang this branch to be on the lookout for my lost umbrella. I do hope this pretty umbrella will be found so I can retrieve this from Chemist Warehouse Westfield Parramatta NSW. God bless you. Thanks, Maria Llave

Utterly useless, possibly even a scam. DO NOT USE!
Utterly useless. Placed an order on Weds, paid extra for "express delivery", it's now Saturday and not only is there no sign of my order, the 2 completely different tracking numbers I was given for it are BOTH invalid/don't exist, and apparently neither does my invoice because if I try to view it OR my order details I just get a 404 error. So I try to get some help, but no I can't because no one works there on the weekends and their online "submit a request" process just constantly loops, trying to direct me to a tracking page for a package that DOESN'T EXIST! So now I'm sick, have no medication, am out of pocket $50 and have to deal with the added stress of sorting this BS out next week - if I don't end up in hospital due to lack of available medical treatment. Avoid this business at all costs.

Treatment
I am absolutely appalled by the treatment my daughter received from Joanna, the Asian pharmacist at Chemist Warehouse Browns Wembley road Plains tonight
My daughter has been in hospital twice for severe back pain and was prescribed medication to manage her condition. Despite presenting a valid prescription, Joanna an Asian female refused to provide her with the medication she urgently needed. She was rude, dismissive, and showed zero compassion or understanding of the situation
This is not just poor service-it is a complete failure in duty of care. She was negligent
Pharmacists are supposed to
support the health and wellbeing of patients, not make things worse.
Joanna's behaviour was unprofessional and deeply concerning. She should be reprimanded for her misconduct.
Thankfully, another pharmacy filled the prescription without hesitation—proving this issue was not with the prescription, but with Joanna's attitude.
I will never return to Chemist Warehouse Browns Plains Wembley road and strongly urge others to think twice before trusting them with their healthcare need.
There has been many complaints regarding the Browns Plains Pharmacy Wembley Road. They should not be allowed to operate and if anything shut down this is inhumane behaviour by a girl who showed no compassion or sympathy.
If you have had a bad experience at this store especially with this again girl put your feedback.

Horrible fragrance!
Today I purchased a Terre d’Hermès from Chemist Warehouse, and unfortunately, the product was very disappointing. The fragrance smelled nothing like what it was described — instead, it had a sharp, unpleasant, almost medicinal scent, reminiscent of a hospital. I bought authentic ones from Hermes between 2018 and 2022. They were refreshing and woody. I requested a return, but I'm skeptical that it will be accepted, as they have strict policies on returning opened fragrances.
This experience has made me question the quality control or authenticity of their fragrance stock. I’d recommend testing fragrances in person or buying from a more specialized retailer if you’re after genuine, high-end scents.

St Mary's chemist Warehouse is to be avoided if getting prescriptions filled
Was told my prescription would be a half an hour so I waited outside came in and had to wait another half an hour with at least 30 people who were disgruntled.Pharmacist was clearly overwhelmed and spent most of his time on the phone he was not friendly and obviously hates his job

Utterly horrible staff
Utterly horrible staff. Horrible pharmisists and their assistants triaging. The ASHGROVE store in particular have been so awful for years and should be ashamed of how little respect their staff have or care they are willing to give. Do not go there. Revert to a local Pharmacy that will treat you with respect and dignity, these people are horrid. A big shout out to Ashgrove staff member that was disgraceful to me today - young 20s, short, skinny asian guy with glasses, speaks to people like they are pieces of crap...managemwnt, it should be easy to identify him. Wait, considering your 1.5 rating you clearly DO NOT CARE ABOUT FEEDBACK OR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. JOKERS.

The pharmacists are rude
The pharmacists are rude, controlling and disrespectful .Frontline staff are fine. Chemist Warehouse Strathfield Plaza overall is appalling. The pharmacists are rude and combative. The is a specific pharmacist “Gregory” not his real name just what is on his badge is rude, controlling and believes it is his job to monitor all aspects of my medication constantly challenging me on medication compliance in a rude way. He is the rudest customer service person I have ever encountered. Very disrespectful and lacks any communication skills.
Prior to it becoming a chemist warehouse the staff and pharmacists were excellent and very helpful. They knew me as a customer for 10 years and I respected them. Now I don’t know any of the staff and the pharmacists are rude - especially Gregory.
There is one local pharmacy left in strathfield and I am moving to that. I am sure they are benefitting from the lost business of Chemist warehouse as we go back to local, personalised service where there is a personal understanding of the customer between the staff and pharmacist.
I have withdrawn my scripts after 15 years with this pharmacy and will go elsewhere. Pharmacy Warehouse does not care. They could have better profit, however they have enough. Foolish company to not focus on customer service = more profit.
Looking at other reviews chemist warehouse constantly is rated as poor.
Go local people!
Find a local personalised service and use that.

Police! Help! My customer has a request!
Customer service is one thing that disappeared when people became so self absorbed. I bought a perfume today at chemist warehouse, when I opened the box it didn't look like the bottle I sampled the perfume from so I went back into the shop to see if I could get the right one. The manager came and told me that it was the right perfume and when I mentioned that it didn't look the same she said: "well I don't know, it's the same, ha see it's written here "new style" so there's nothing I can do for you" I wasn't too impressed by the way she said that but I then advised her that maybe she should put the new design in display to avoid confusion she then answered by: "oh that's a good idea, I might just do that but I don't need the attitude!" Wow where that came from I don't know. I said: "excuse me, the attitude?" - "yes" she said "because you are being rude!" So I'm not too sure what I've done or said that seemed to be rude to her but to my opinion the rudness was more from the way she was handling the situation. I must admit I switched to rude since she was asking for it. I did say: "I'm sorry but I wasn't f@#*@*g rude, now that's rude, if you want rude I'll give you rude" it wasn't the smartest move I know but I'm sick and tired to have to deal with retailers who feel offended each time a patron has to say something, it is supposed to be "customer service" it never been "retailer service". "You don't treat Retail staff like that" she said "now you leave my shop or I call the police" she caried on pulling out her phone ready to dial, yes sure that's all the police has to do, come and sort out a patron retailer dispute over a bottle of perfume because of her incompetence, I didn't even steal the blooming thing, I paid $80 for it.
In this chemist warehouse like in so many places nowadays it's rare to get a good morning, please, thank you or even just a smile. On top of that you don't always get the right answer, product or "atitude" either. I studied retailing for 3 years and had a diploma for that and I can tell you this is not how it works. People are so self absorbed that they tend to forget that it's not all about them, when you work in Retail it's all about the customers, they are the one that make the business run, they are the reason retailers can put food on their table so even if the customer give them "attitude", which wasn't the case there, the retailer job namely "customer service" is to make the customer calm down and sort out the problem apologetically not cry for the police and have a tantrum.
One thing is sure not only I'll never go back to this shop but I'll advise my own customers to avoid the place too.
Actually I previously ordered a medication, a couple of days later they told me to come back to pick it up and when i did not only the medication wasn't there but they didn't even made the order. Oh I forgot to mention I live out of town, came especially for that.
The only thing that saves this shop is the location: first chemist the travellers find when coming to Murray Bridge but the locals aren't too keen on shopping there. Maybe she needs some customer service course or the management is not the right role for her.

Do not do express same day delivery it’s a scam
I ordered cough /cold mixture at 3:18 pm. With express delivery (2-3hrs) ($14.99) delivery cost. saw no updates so called the call centre.
Was advised : because I ordered after 3 I wouldn’t get the order until the next day.
I asked why I wasn’t a warning or update at time of ordering.
(I ordered using the app) was told the delivery information is in the FAQ’s on the website !
I explained I had no reason to check FAQ’s I was expecting to get the service I paid for.
Then got a message from the delivery company
To say the delivery is planned for 11am the next day !
What a total rip off of the delivery fee.
Do not use these people they are dodgy. Go elsewhere : order number : 148564646
I will lodge a complaint with consumer affairs.
It’s easy to put in a warning at the time of ordering to say orders will be delayed (next day ) so consumers have a choice to cancel or not go ahead with the order.

I had visited this Chemist Warehouse…
I had visited this Chemist Warehouse store in Tarneit, and i believe this store should be shut down. I only wanted to verify single document and they charged me $8 just to verify one single page. I had never paid more than $2 for 1 page and on top on receipt they make it look like you willingly making that donation for the charity. Its a complete ripoff and staff are neither friendly and made you wait for long though u can see they chatting behind the counter in pharmacy section.

Terrible service
Terrible service. I ordered online, you take the payment but you cancel the order within hours of it being placed. Then to try and get hold of customer service to find out what's going on is a joke. Holding for almost 20 minutes and I haven't even spoken to anyone yet. Would definitely not recommend

Online ordering is ridiculous
Online ordering is ridiculous. You take payment and cancel the order within a day and don’t refund the shipping costs. From the reviews I’ve read you need to pick up your game. People can’t afford to be ripped off. I’m done with your company. I’d rather pay more than support a company that’s dishonest.
I’ll get my refund through PayPal

Lies and deception with Covid vaccine
My wife booked for the latest Covid vaccine, JN1. She checked again before she was given it and I was assured that it was the JN1. When she got the detailed receipt they had given me the old XBB vaccine without her knowledge, against her wishes and without her approval!! The chemist told her they were quitting out old stock before giving the latest JN1 vaccine!!!! They lied to her and have put her health and the health of those around her at risk.
The old vaccine is not as effective and makes her more vulnerable to Covid, as well as her family.
This is outrageous!! Check the vial yourself when you are getting any vaccine but especially Covid vax from anywhere and especially Chemist Warehouse.

Grateful for great customer service at Eve Central
CWH at Eve Central SC ...
I am very pleased with staff at this centre especially Sarita who helped me with a refund. Although I made a few trips, I appreciate very much the staff's warmness, courtesy and politeness.
Sarita was most apologetic, kind, warm and sweet re my wait for the refund.
She certainly made my day a happy one and I am truly grateful.
So thank you once again Sarita and counter staff at CW Eve Central SC... kind regards, kai.
Note: I wrote this review sometime in Oct 2024 but not sure what happen .. it wasn't published. So I am writing again and hope it will be published this time.

Rosehip
I find their pricing extremely good. Unfortunately Rosehip is just too expensive taking 10 a day $43.00 is just out of our price range in Western Australia. It’s the cheapest in town but when it was $37 we could stretch the budget but like everything else it’s out of our price range now. So I guess we have to go back to pain.

Barred For No Good Reason With No Preamble And Very Little Effort
Jason, the owner of Chemist Warehouse's 2 Ipswich, Queensland, stores, has barred me from them both. Now that you think I am an arch-criminal, let me tell you what happened.
I had been to my GP this morning, who prescribed flucloxacillin for a bright red and hot infection and swelling that has developed on the calf and shin of my right leg. I am diabetic and the infection is already weeping and I have no desire for it to become ulcerous. My GP said I must keep that leg raised, so as to assist in draining the infectious liquid that is starting to pool. Sorry, it's not nice, but it is relevant to this débacle. I left the GP surgery a little light headed at the thought of how this could all-too-easily develop if not treated promptly.
I went to my usual Chemist Warehouse pharmacy in South Street, Ipswich. My wife & I have been loyal customers there for almost ten years. I had an excellent relationship with this branch’s lead pharmacist called Akshay until he took a managerial post at Ipswich’s other Chemist Warehouse branch.
There is no free on-street parking on weekdays but the pharmacy has a small car park at the rear of the property. When I arrived, there was only one space at the far corner. I needed other regular diabetes medication & this Chemist Warehouse branch keeps all my prescriptions on file in store. They send me SMS reminders when repeat medications are due. I inched my way into the parking space but was close to the car next to me & to the fence to my right. You might think I ought to have driven off. But there was now an urgency to my getting antibiotics. This store had earlier sent me an SMS reminder of the diabetes medications I needed, to which I replied this morning. They therefore knew what I needed – apart from the antibiotics. Frankly, I just wanted to get my meds and go home.
Inside the store, I told the staff I had replied to their SMS. I reminded them which medications I needed and handed them the new prescription my GP had, less than an hour earlier, written to combat the infection in my leg. While I was waiting, a staff member asked if the ute was mine in the back of the car park. I suspected it was but declined to move it because I was still feeling a little light headed and given my GP's warnings, I was not inclined to go on a hike, stirring up all the pus pooling in my leg. I explained about my infected leg. I showed them. They knew from my medications that I was diabetic. I asked if they could expedite my order so I could be out of everyone's hair in no time.
Without preamble, a man in a black polo neck t-shirt bereft of badge or markings walked up and towered over me and told me to go and move my ute. His demeanour was clearly designed as an exercise in ascendancy. Having flown in the Royal Air Force during the Cold War, I had seen this tactic used before - to ill effect. I explained I wasn’t feeling well, that I am diabetic and… Without bothering to listen any more, he walked away behind the counter, returned and handed me all my prescriptions they have on file. I asked where my meds were to which he replied you are not welcome here any more! Crikey! Such an escalation with no shots fired! I said, “Are you serious? What is your name? I shall write to your managing director.” He chuckled and said “My name is Jason. I am the owner.” There followed a walk of shame to the front door. Was any of this really necessary?
I went to Ipswich’s other Carphone Warehouse store. I saw Akshay and explained what had happened. He seemed shocked, rightly so given the friendly rapport we had shared down the years. He was apologetic but added that Jason owns this branch, too!
To any who would say I ought to have not parked but driven to another pharmacy, this branch kept all my repeat prescriptions on file. I had been told by my GP to get my antibiotics, go home and put my leg up. I certainly wasn't expecting the outcome that ensued & having texted ahead, I was confident that, mid-week, I would be in and out in a flash. Under any other circumstances, I would have willingly moved my ute. These were not any other circumstances.
There were no raised voices. They asked if I would move my car. I refused, but apologetically & at first, I succeeded in convincing the duty pharmacist that my infection, coupled with diabetes, made my request for an expeditious exit & to keep movement of my limb to a minimum, not in any way unreasonable. The person being wholly unreasonable & boorish was the owner.
The people who felt themselves blocked in by me were two girls on crutches & a teenage lad. All late teens or early twenties. They were sitting in their car with the tailgate up but no thought of getting the driver (young, thin and agile) to clamber over the seats to reach the driving seat, reverse & let the others in and get on with their day!!!
So, no diabetic meds. No antibiotics and a ban from two pharmacies. What a result!
