The Money Network CUNY Scholar Card has Ended.

Please be aware that as of December 31, 2018, the CUNY Scholar Card Program has ended.  We strongly recommend that you enroll in Direct Deposit as the mechanism to receive your financial aid payments.  Direct Deposit will provide you with the same safety and flexibility that you received through your Scholar Card.

As of January 1, 2019, students who were enrolled in the CUNY Scholar Card were automatically un-enrolled from the card. The default payment method for students who do not sign up for direct deposit will be a paper check. CUNY strongly recommends that students sign up for direct deposit to their personal bank account. Sign up for direct deposit on your CUNYfirst Self-Service account.

Students were able to use the remaining funds on their card prior to the card’s expiration date, or until February 28, 2019. As of March 1, 2019, all cards were closed and students were issued a check for any remaining balance from Money Network.
