I received a catalog in the mail early Fall of 2017 and ordered some cute items for the Holidays. I spent only a few hundred dollars and signed up for Auto-Pay. Everything was going along fine for months, my payments were processing just fine, and then, when reviewing my Bank account today, a Saturday, I realized my latest auto-pay was not processed for some reason. I panicked, checked my debit card expiration date on the card in use, and it was fine! I tried calling the Customer Service line and continued to get rotated into "Make A Payment" when I specified "Questions About Your Bill" or some such line. So I went online. I had an Alert that my payment was late. Obviously, since the Auto-Pay didn't process! I checked the Auto-Pay section - my card was not even listed ! What the heck?!? I made my usual $25.00 payment with another card, under the "Make A One-Time Payment" so as not to change anything in their system on my usual Auto-Pay card. My Payment Amount Due was $25.00 -- I made the payment online and IMMEDIATELY got a notice that my minimum payment was $50.00 ! What ?!? I JUST paid my $25, have charged NOTHING in 5 months, and have had a minimum payment of $25 since the get-go! I emailed their Customer Service Dept. I plan on calling Monday, but after reading all these horrible reviews, I am wondering if they PURPOSELY deleted my card in order to gain finance and late charges. If it is not resolved Monday, I will be contacting my attorney to contact their company.

We ordered two glass door cabinets to house my teapot collection in one and my son's Lego collection in the other. The cabinets were delivered safely and in a timely manner and are beautiful! I also ordered a very nice, high quality, winter coat. However, I became quite ill with a hospital stay then my son had an operation. A lot of my bills slipped through the cracks for a period, and Countrydoor was one of them. Tonight they called my house and I graciously answered the phone and was very courteous to the young man on the other end of the phone and paid my bill in full. A robot would have been nicer to talk to than this young man. I realize when you spend all day in collections, it wears on you. But when you hear a happy, kind voice who wants to pay their bill in full readily, he should be happy he got me! I did not have a problem with the company itself, just this young man! Parents, please teach your children manners and people skills!

I have been with country door for a couple years. It has always been a great online co.. I consider myself a very good customer always making orders paying my payments on time and I just paid them off this June. Just in the last month I started ordering and after 2 weeks I received a limit increase. So I ordered some Christmas gifts. Well with an email to me or any notification they told me I was not going to get them because ordered to much in the past... I’m sorry but this makes no sense to me. I have the credit but since I ordered items in the last month I was denied for no reason. I first talked to a lady named Traci who then transferred me to another lady who hung up on me. Then I was transfered to a supervisor named Juvantee. Who talked over me and would not help me at all. I did write up a complaint with consumer affairs as this was such horrible Service that its literally making no sense to me. I told them to please close my account and they lost a very good and longtime customer all becuae they would not take the time to help me nor to even email me any type of response. This is very silly.

I ordered 4 items. Received the items which were horribly made from China all had a funky smell. I returned all items. Received an email that in 5 business days they would refund my money for which I paid in full not realizing I wouldn't like the items. After 2 weeks I had to call customer service and ask what was going on. I was finally told after being transferred around that a check will come in 3 to 4 wks. I am being charged $40 some dollars for the shipping and was told the charge was because nothing was wrong with the items. So I will hold my breath and see if a check truly comes. Do not buy from this company. There are plenty of reputable retailers that do not treat their customers this way!!!!!!! Be warned!!!!!! In this world customer service is everything!!!!!

Here is my experience:

On 9/28/2016 I ordered the cutest little fall decoration (pumpkin solar car and trailer set) for $52.44. What I received was a red bird for $16.99. When I called "customer service" the "lady" explained that they sent me the wrong item and they were all sold out of what I had originally ordered. She then explained that they would be sending me a return label and in a few WEEKS I would be receiving my refund. I finally on 10/17/16 received $42.49 (why not the FULL AMOUNT) that's a DAMN good question!!

TOTAL SCAM & the BBB is going to get an ear full from me!

I guarantee it was a BS restocking fee - for the WRONG ITEM.

WHY am I being charged one red cent for THEIR MISTAKE???

Learn from my MISTAKE and DO NOT ORDER from this BS company!!

I ordered a queen size chenille bedspread w/ matching shams.
The order came in a timely manner. However, the size was not big enough for a regular size bed. I called CS because I did not feel I should have to pay for return postage since it was Country Doors problem. CS said I had to measure the spread before she could help me. I had already packaged it up to return. Was not going to open it up to measure it. I will never shop at Country Door again. Both Customer service and the product are of very poor quality.

I ordered a rug for $129. Paid $32 for shipping. When I received it I was shocked at how different the colors looked than they did in their catalog. I returned it, having to pay $21 to ship it back. So that's $53 in shipping cost for a $129 item. I called the company and the lady on the phone said, does it have flowers on it. I said yes. Are they orange? I said yes but saturation is very poor compared to picture in catalog. She said, rather rudely that it's their policy that if customers are not happy with their purchase they have to pay for shipping both ways.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

This evening, 1/14/2020 a Country Door rep. called late at night, middle of the week. When I asked why she was calling so late the rep. told me not to be rude! I advised her that she was calling on MY phone. I hung up and she continued to call thru the night. My husband answered the phone and she laughed loudly and continuous until he hung up. We took phone off hook and will report the company and caller to our State Atty General's office tomorrow. Fyi, When a consumer is mistreated or harassed, the State Atty General's office is the agency for consumer issues. Bye bye Country Door.

I ordered two blankets, the colors were not great and the sizes were incorrect. I admitted that I ordered the incorrect size.
I had to pay for shipping back, fine, but then I get a bill for $59.00.
The reason, I had to Reimburse them for their shipping to me, and honestly I couldn’t understand what the other reason was. Because I admitted I ordered the wrong size, I was charged. It was my fault, not theirs.
OH, then when I said, fine, I will pay it, you have my CC #, just charge it. It would be a $2 charge for that! Then they switched me to someone else to discuss payment and we got disconnected, and they have my number, why wouldn’t they call me back?
I will not order from this company ever again.

paid my $86 bill via electronic payment less than 30 days after invoice received - received a statement in December showing that it was not paid. When I called I was told that my check 'bounced' - I did not pay by check - I paid on line. But the Customer Service lady insisted. I asked if any notification had been sent that there may have been some sort of issue - she did not answer that logical question. They are a joke and should close shop. I will contact the class action suit and have asked to have my account closed -

ON 7/1/18 WE MAILED A CHECK FOR 3 HONEYBEE DISH TOWELS TO BE SENT TO OUR SISTER FOR HER BIRTHDAY NLT 7/18. ON 7/5 WE RECIEVED A LETTER STATING THE TOWELS WERE NOT IN STOCK AND OUR CHECK WOULD BE RETURNED. WE ALSO RECIEVED A 7/9 PHONE CALL FROM A FOREIGN MALE STATING THE SAME.

ON 7/12, WE WENT ONLINE TO CHECK OUR BANK STATEMENT AND WAS SHOCKED THAT “COUNTRY DOOR” HAD ACTUALLY CASHED OUR CHECK FOR $32.94 ON 7/11, ONLY JUST YESTERDAY.

WE CALLED COUNTRY DOOR’S CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CREDIT DEPARTMENT SPEAKING TO 2 SUPERVISORS. BOTH STATED POLICY DICTATES WE “WOULD RECIEVE A CHECK BACK IN 30 DAYS”. WE ASKED THE CREDIT DEPARTMENT TO FEDX OUR CHECK WITHIN 24 HOURS BUT WERE REFUSED.

WHAT A CROOKED SYSTEM. IF THIS HAPPENED TO JUST 100 PEOPLE, “COUNTRY DOOR” COULD / WOULD POCKET A LARGE CHUNK OF MONEY AND COLLECT THE SCAM INTEREST.

WE CONTACTED THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAD AND EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED. THEY SUGGESTED WE FILE A REPORT AS THIS WAS NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE. WE WILL ALSO GOOGLE AND CHECK FACEBOOK TO PROBE FURTHER IF OTHERS HAVE HAD SIMILAR ISSUES.

SO IT DOESN’T HAPPEN TO OTHER CONSUMERS AS WELL, WE WANT THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY TO CONTACT US AND EXPLAIN THIS CROOKED PROCESS AND COME UP WITH A REMEDY TO THIS SITUATION.

I ordered a table on 10/6/19. The order was cancelled on 10/8/19. No call no concern from this company. No resolution but excuses. The table was 139.00 out the door was 183.00. I called Customer Service which was no help. This company really needs to get it together. I escolated the call two time but just got a rep in the same department like they where switching me back to the agent that was sitting next to the person I was talking to. Now on the phone for 1 hour and 15 minutes for nothing. Don't buy from these predators.They first of all are sister companys with montgomery wards,swiss colony.and many others.When they give you credit they will only give you 100$ to start but each company will do same.That creates many shipping costs many late fees many taxes and just numerous costs to you instead of ine payment through all these sister companies.I purchased 48$ worth of a product from country door and they charge me 10$ monthly late fees.Ive payed 30$ on my acct and still owe 50$??Also is your other acct is late with any of there sister companys tthey will harrase you about them when you call country door??Stay away from country door swiss colony montgomery wards etc they are predatory lenders and for people trying to rebuild your credit they are the worst people to deal with.On top of it there merchandise is low quality and your getting screwed either way.Please tell every one about my review.If you start with them you will be sorry .Im trying to warn anyone before they get into a predicament with this scam if a companys!!Beware stay away.....

I bought 2 pillows $29 each plus tax and shipping. I wasn't happy with them so I returned them. I paid $13 to send them back and they charged me for their shipping so I lost $30 in the transaction. Spoke with customer service and woman was extremely rude!

They reported me to the credit bureau after declining me debt counseling proposal and running up past due payments several months after a really time in my life and refused to reage my account. They never reported me AFTER 10 YEARS OF ON TIME PAYMENTS!!!!!!! They are horrible back stabbers. Do not let their bunny page fool you!!!
