It's my first time using cycle trader . I went with the economy package to feel my way around. Had a little problem posting pictures but its because I didn't convert my pictures to jpeg file which is required. Overall I like the program. I've gotten 20 views so its working. I will be using it again in the future.

My bike was listed on Facebook Marketplace for several months. I got a few hits but nothing really. At the suggestion of my local motorcycle shop, I listed my bike on CycleTrader and choose the 6 week option. After weeding through the scammers (which was bothersome) my bike sold in 2 weeks for full price. ANd the gentleman that bought it actually lived just down the street from me. After initial contact, the sale was so smooth.

Sold my bike within 2 weeks! I like the interface and easy messaging with potential buyers. Overall, a really good experience. I was able to sell my '23 HD Low Rider ST for $4k more than the low-ball offer from the HD dealership I bought it from.

Emails are delayed, up to 24 hours. I called once, was told it was a firewall issue, but resolved. They extended my ad time. Issue continues now. I have to log into the account to see up to date communication. I called back, they said to clear my cache...which makes no sense...but I did it. Issue continues. Was told they would send a mail and follow up. Has not happened.

I received almost no offers from my motorcycle ad. I Sent several test inquiries from various phones/computers. Almost none are received. I called multiple times and after being on hold for 10-15 minutes, the auto voice says 'Noone is here to take your call'?? During business hours btw. I will NEVER us Cycle Trader again..

The quality of the leads are bad. too many fake buyers trying to scam pretending they are buyers and then asking for reports sending fake links.

The process is easy to start and list. I can see how many people have looked at my bike. Very positive experience there. On the negative is the 48 hours it took for the inquiry submitted by a potential buyer to reach me. Also, this place is scam central. Every time I have listed a bike, people are trying to scam me. Offering to buy the bike sight unseen and want it shipped cross country. Same thing every time. Need more warning for unsuspecting sellers who think they are getting lucky.

overall great value. i received strong leads and am in process of selling my bike to one of them.
the site is glitchy and lost some of the description i entered. it happened multiple times. i finally was able to get my listing the way i needed it to be.

NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS> priced my motorcycle at a very reasonable price. All I got were fake buyers asking me to buy a VG report.
Let the buyer buy a title search and VIN number check.

I have found that it is very difficult to know when someone responds to the ad I placed. I have had almost no inquiries for my ad when the price is below normal.

It was easy enough to set up albeit a bit pricey. Sadly I have only received contact from one guy trying to bait me to Vin Gator and another using the old scam of a certified check and will have shipped.

I've had over 100 views on my paid for ad and all I've been contacted by are scammers. If my ad was free I could expect such poor website control.

This is second time I have used Cycle Trader with absolutely no inquiries. Not even an email asking if my price was firm. I did sell my Triumph today 2-19-24 (at listed price) out of a listing with Craig's List here in Indianapolis. I also got an offer from a dealer ($1,500 for a $5,999 asking price, what a joke) so that was also a waste of time. I don't know if the searches were not working properly for my Triumph but to get no responses to my add was very disappointing.

I listed my motorcycle on Thursday afternoon, two responses within hours, scheduled test rides the following afternoon at 4:00 and 5:00. The one at 4 paid cash. Couldnt have gone better. Amazing.

Too expensive, very little leads, and it’s better to sell on Facebook marketplace place as that’s where I sold my bike.
