Day Air Credit Union

I have a car loan with DayAir that I make the payment within the 10 days that it is due. But because of the way I am making the payment, they say it's through a 3rd party, they charge me an overdraft. The payment is due the 15th and I make it by or on the 25th. They can see I make the payment the 25th, but still consider it late. NONE of my other accounts at any other institution consider it late, when the payment is made on that day. They are making a ton on late fees, which is ridiculous. I'm not in Ohio anymore, so my only option is to make it on line. And if I pay it by debit card, there is a $15 charge and the late fee is $20. I think they are ripping people off in late fees. I belong to a credit union down in Florida and they will even waive overdrafts if I ask and explain the situation. Not Day Air. They are out to make money any way they can!! I just need to get rid of this car payment and be done with them!!

I give Day air credit union a F for satisfaction they are not nobody and they need to learn that they cannot stop anyone from applying for a credit card they have no powers what so ever they need to learn how to respect people more I recommend code credit union be for this place less the branch managers care over there about there customers
know how to treat their customers and the ceo's are not disrespectful and you can get the credit card you want and they respect what you want I had one complaint over there posted a review the next day.a branch manager called me apologized and got me the card I was wanting day air credit union can't even get there heads out of there butts long enough to help customers take your business to code credit union and ask for Logan

Very polite if I call with questions and helpful. App is easy to use. Was very easy to get a person on the phone when you call. Email easy.

Dont like the variable loan rate. Currently refinancing to pay this loan off. This was for home improvements. Had to purchase additional loan for the complete home improvement

Want lower interest rate currently owe for 51 more months. Would like a new 48 month loan for 2 %. I like having the skip a month option

I financed a car loan with DACU through the dealership. It was fine until I wanted to actually pay it off. I had moved out of town so only had remote options available to me. Their electronic system had a dollar limit too low to pay off in full, they do not accept payment over the phone, and their system did not recognize my loan number for me to create an online account. I ended up having to split the payment into 4 different payments in their online system, sent in over the course of a week, costing me additional interest payments. They are completely lacking the necessary tools for banking in a modern age.

Worst credit union in Ohio! Managers are incompetent as well as several tellers. Can’t complete a simple transaction. Tried to submit a form in PDF via email per COVID 19 precautions and representative couldn’t even send the right form. Tried talking to one of the managers; no luck.

Very pleased with the service I received today. The line was short and moved very quickly. Teller was very courteous and very knowledgable. I am glad I am a member and plan to use Day Air for a long time.

I have been a member of Day Air CU for 25+ years. I recently went to the VA branch to inquire about a loan. At the time I thought my credit rating was in fair condition and based upon that information, Holly said she could secure me a loan with the interest rate of approximately 7%. My credit rating was actually better than I thought so I told Holly that I would accept the terms of the loan. Shame on you Holly for not informing me that the interest rate was over 20%. I pray this practice isn’t consistent with the way Day Air treats all their members.

I can't say enough great things about this credit union. I have been a member since 1989 and have had great customer service. The process for any type of loan is very easy and the staff communicates on every step. The credit union also offers what is called shared banking and a mobile application. What is really cool about the shared banking is no matter where you may be in the U.S. you can use the mobile application to find a bank or credit union to do business. For example if I need to deposit money while out of town, I find a shared banking branch, using the mobile application. Once I have found the branch I am able to go in and let the teller know I need to do a deposit using shared banking and they make it happen. Really convenient service for a bank to offer.
