Is this a genuine email from Facebook?
I just received the following email:

Hi Dino
It looks like someone tried to log in to your account on 19 July at 22:17 using Opera for Windows 7. Your account is safe; we just wanted to make sure that it was you who tried to log in from somewhere new.
If you don't think that this was you, please log in to Facebook so that we can walk you through a few steps to keep your account safe.
Thanks,
The Facebook Team

The email has my correct email address and is asking me to click on a link to perhaps go over my security details however I don't know if this is a genuine Facebook email or not?

EDIT - It looks like it is genuine as when I just tried to log in via my Facebook app on my iPad, I got a pop up message to say that I have been locked out due to suspicious activity & someone tried to log in to my account from the U.S.??
Had to then follow a process to change my password within the app itself.
Scary stuff!!

They do send emails like that if you have got it on your security about logging in from another computer but!..... Firstly have you just logged in from a different place and know it was you?..... I have had emails like that regarding me logging on but!... I suspect that yours is a scam because I am sure all companies state that if you get an email asking to click a link and go through your security details it is someone trying to gain access into your account!...
I would say ' On no account do what they are asking' I am sure you are being scammed....
Scary stuff!!
Really?
Zzzzz.........
Not really scary, Just go on without using any links in the email and change your password and end any unknown sessions
