DSS Feedback needed
Hello All, Just wondering from those who use this product. I notice my truck is starting to "wander" more then she use to and I am looking to fix if possible. Does it help with the wander? Also, does it tighten up the "freeplay" in the steering wheel? Hard to install? I know, too many questions...any feedback always appreciated. Thanks

DTT Trackbar?? Do they have one?
Perhaps you refer to DSS (Darrins Steering Stabilizer...or DTB...(Darrins Track Bar).
If so, I run both. Hard to say which makes bigger difference. Both are great. I would start with DSS and see how it feels. Recommend it highly!
Install not bad for reasonable mechanical ability...see steps here.....

I installed DSS at 35,000 miles as preventative Mx. Wanted to prevent what was guarantteed, IMO, to be problem in the future, based on Dodges design...and all the reports here.. Did not expect to feel much difference due to my relatively low mileage. Was amazed how much better my truck tracked down the road.
Eliminated "freeplay" I didn't even realize I had!

Are you talking about the bracket that allows you to use a 3rd Gen. trackbar in a 2nd Gen.? If so, I did that. Made a fairly big difference even though my stock bar wasn't showing much slop.

I think he is referring to this
Yes, worth every penny.
Moreso if you have a lot of miles on that poor steering box.
I put mine in with about 30K, not a lot of miles, but could still feel the difference right off the bat.

Thanks Phox, That would be what I am "trying" to describe (looooooong night), Thank You
I've got about 100k on the truck and the "wander" is getting worse than before (strange thing is, it seemed to get worse after I put new shocks on, gotta be coincedence) Anyway, sounds like this will help, my front-end is in decent shape still.

Adjustable T.B. is for trucks with lift.
03 T.B. is for stock height on 4x4 and works very well...requires Solidsteel.biz bracket. Also, may want to check out Thuren Track Bars. Newer option... Heard good things and is less expensive!
I can only recommend what I've tried...the 03 T.B. as excellent!
