Good service
Easy to use Equifax and see your credit report and history, unlike ClearScore it does require a monthly payment to use their services, but still a good service

Whilst I do think it’s a great site to be able to check my financial situation, I don’t agree with having to pay a subscription fee each month for additional features. Thankfully Totally Money is free and pretty much has everything I need with live updates.

I liked the fact it was simple to access, and reasonably priced, it also covers everything and feels secure.

Customer service agents are helpful but Equifax hold lots of wrong information surrounding addresses and it is a total nightmare trying to get them rectified. Transunion and Experian have my correct address but Equifax has the wrong flat number and the irony is that it wasn't on their system and my wife had to call them to get it loaded on so she could set up accounts as we are going through a mortgage application. Is it the Equifax AI system that is to blame for the wrong address being peppered throughout my account or is it a lazy agent. If an address is wrong, correct it the whole way through the file! Sick of this company, but I'll need to call yet again as it won't let me log it online.

Was happy to take the free trial, i tried to cancel a few times eventually successful on the 10th March which evidentally was 1 day late.
Phoned up and the woman was rather rude. Asked for a pro rata refund and she refused and said we can auto debit your card as long as we like (which isnt strictly true)
Ill take this on the chin but anyone considering using them as I did to try and improve my credit just dont do it.

Harder to read and understand than others. People, like me, are led to believe they need to check their credit rating and, in doing so, have to give payment information. As I say harder to understand what everything means and then you have to make sure you cancel your payment

Ms.Amanda Donovan's reply as follows:
I understand you wanted the accounts with 02 removed as you stated they were fraudulently opened. I can see from our records that the accounts in question are no longer showing on your credit report, this could be a result of you contacting 02 directly and they investigated this internally.

If you dispute a fraudulent transaction on a Nationwide credit card Nationwide will mark your account as “Q” (query) they then pass this information to Equifax who interpret it as a missed payment.
Nationwide say it’s not their problem as Equifax have got the information wrong. Equifax say Nationwide are the data holders and it’s their problem. Nationwide appalling customer service won’t help. Each company blame each other while the customer gets a negative credit score mark on their report.
Nationwide are giving false information to Equifax and this is negatively effecting peoples credit score. Nationwide refuse to admit that their data sent to Equifax is their problem.

Been trying to get into my account
Tired new passwords as instructed
Works fine for one log in
Then rejects the same information the next time
Very time consuming to do such an easy task
Should have a direct email so you can just email directly with your problems
Tried new passwords etc no no avail
A real pain
Easy solution - an email address you can use in the Uk that gets you straight to customer servo UK

Your Staff- Especially David M.
What Trust Pilot should note is that most Companies are trying to save money and as such let the computer @ & now AI do the talking. If one can finally get through and have a conversation using your voice & the human at the other end uses there’s then the problem gets solved.
As a point I wanted a few weeks ago to speak to Trust Pilot itself but I couldn’t get through. Maybe they should speak to David M at Equifax.

My point of comparison is experian. I log in to that I get lots of useful advice about improving my score, and the ability to view more different types of personal infomation, for example a link to my bank accounts. Equifax seems more limited in what they can be told. (Also they give me a lower normalised score, so I've got an ulterior motive to dissent :-) ).

I was unable to onboard. Company expect GBP 14.95 commitment with Card to be compulsory paid after free period. The Credit card providers company like Banks , using their services, should pay instead by individuals. Other credit report service provider allow onboard without any charges and are very effective with their Scores. You can not access or get free individual credit report from Equifax unlike other service provider Experian, Clear score or Totally money etc
Thanks

On the 12th of April i cancelled the trial subscription. Email confirmed and site confirmation in my account. On the 19th of April i was charged £14.95. The bank card 9919 linked to my equifax account expired 11/2022. They took the money from my card 9927, which is not linked to my equifax account. How is that possible?!?

12.04.2024 - Your Equifax subscription has been cancelled
12.04.2024 - Payment needed to keep your service. Update your payment details
19.04.2024 - Card ending 9927 which is not linked to Equifax was charged £14.95. Transacrtion # P1-16979989. Emailed them 4 days ago, no reply. Case ID 240419-2912070.
