Latest industry news from the massively multiplayer online browser game world suggests that the new leader in web based titles (UMGE Group) are close to releasing a beta test server for the sequel to evony free forever.

Word is that the new game will be called Evony Age II and will feature larger sized world, additional in-game items, more heros and more detailed attack and resource building techniques.

The move is interesting – Eric Lam and his merry men have really stirred the online gaming MMORPG pot. They have captured a whole new market in a short space of time, several million online gamers in fact! They have spent a big portion of dollars on AdSense advertising but it seems to have driven the traffic they needed.

Lam knows how powerful Blizzard have it with World of Warcraft, near 10 million members there paying close to $20 USD per month for access. BIG BIG earnings.

So instead of resting on his success, Lam has quickly fired up a new game ready to keep evony free forever lovers in the zone and wanting more!

It started as a legal catfight. The fast-growing giant behind Evony Free Forever (UMGE), now Evony LLC going after the small time blogger Bruce on Games (Bruce Everiss).

Everiss a former game industry marketeer, now retired in England – writes on his popular blog Bruce on Games. Everiss gave Evony a poor review when it first hit the online scene, and he followed it up with some highly critical forum posts and general bad press.

As Evony grew, (now approaching 10 million accounts) they decided to go after Everiss for financial and to possibly curb others from slinging mud at the fast-growing free mmorpg browser game.

But little Bruce Everiss wouldn’t go away.

Bruce has fired up on all cylinders and now has his negative press campaign going into overdrive. Not only didn’t Everiss cease to review Evony in a bad light, he has increased his coverage of the game and has more recently kicked off an evony truth facebook group to stir up the storm even more.

On his blog, Everiss is asking supporters and Evony haters to chip in and throw some money his way – with plenty seemingly only too happy to tip money into the pot.

Good luck to him, he has boosted his profile, is making some additional monies and should be safe from the long arm of the Australian law. (Remember, regardless of jurisdiction – you have to be served in person. If court documents cannot be served in person, defamation according to Australian law only has a viability window of 12 months).

The buzz from the online MMORPG gaming community is again centered around free browser game Evony Free Forever. This time its an invite only, exclusive new server that hardcore gamers are trying to get access to through codes – a server they are calling ‘iEvony‘.

A quick search online, you’ll see gamers trying to track down ievony codes and find a way on how to get into the exclusive server for the top level Evony gamers. It’s not clear just yet who has access, whether its been given to the best evony alliance members or top ranked evony players according to scores, or even evony coin owners (pay for play) that have forked out cash to get the premium game.

At each turn, just when the evony gaming craze looks like slowing down it seems UMGE has a new trick up their sleeve. While there have been some complaints from some users having problem with game coins orders and others getting bored with the game, this new offering and its whole exclusivity factor – will bring gamers forward in their droves. A total masterstroke, it may bring the MMORPG gamers back to the free offering but can evony free forever through their latest ievony scheme – still be able to make money for the game developers UMGE / Wowmine?

The rumor around evony free forever becoming a paid only service gained more legs earlier this week as the game developer continued to receive heat from not only MMORPG critics, but also from the law – after allegations that UMGE top brass were being sued for alleged click fraud.

The evony marketing campaign through adsense was apparently helped by UMGE / wowmine sources allegedly clicking competitior ads to drive down the cost of the evony campaign.

evony coins / pays per click through adsense have themselves dropped down now, so there has obviously been some change in the marketing campaigns from the MMORPG owners.

However, now that the slick game has reached nearly 2million players, and is now ranked 2000 in terms of alexa score – will umge decide to make it a premium only service similar to warcraft and only allow new gamers a trial period inside the evony game?

The Evony Online action has increased as the games backers ‘UMGE’ relaunch the ‘Queen of Evony’ competition to cut out the hackers and cheats that wrecked the first comp. The initial queen of evony picture / photo competition involved users / gamers taking a photo of a female dressed in medieval costume featuring a sign or name of the free online game based somewhere in the pic.

But when it came time to vote on the winning evony picture, gamers colluded and voted in blocks – as initially the winning voters would also be rewarded.

Luckily UMGE revised the rules of the competition and the evony online competition was reset.

Now, there are no prizes for the winning voters – only the winning entry. All voting is kept secret to stop any cheating, which is a much smarter way to handle things. Certainly some of the entries from Evony gamers have been great and the exciting aspect of the Online Games Free RPG title – is that so many females are now taking part in the free online strategy game action that is evony.

Welcome female fans, just another successful niche tapped by the evony team as they continue to break records in online gaming experiences.

The competition running for Evony gamers called ‘The Queen of Evony‘ has been restarted, as UMGE (Wowmine) defines the new rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable competition for all involved.

After suspiscions of cheating in the first round of voting, the Queen of Evony comp now has some harder and faster rules to ensure voters arent just jumping on the bandwagon to win prizes themselves or help friends reach the top of the voting count.

Such has been the popularity of the game and this competition – where Evony gamers can send in pictures of their ‘Queen’ a girlfriend, gamer, mum or female with the words ‘Queen of Evony’ posted on them and perhaps some fancy medieval dress up to boot.
