I thought going through them for a low interest rate would be a good idea. Boy was I wrong. It's been a full week since I purchased the truck, and the loan STILL has not processed, leaving my new truck sitting on the lot while my wife is 9 months pregnant. I've had to facilitate this whole transaction and stay on top of my closing docs getting lost between departments. Stay far away. Go through the dealership and pay off the loan early. This has been a nightmare. Quite a disservice to FedEx employees if you ask me.

I’ve had my checking account with direct deposit and recently got an auto loan as well. Easy to communicate with thru the app and signed loan forms electronically, so I was never inconvenienced to stop in a branch.

I've been with fedex credit union since 2002 and I have put up with their crappy customer service all this time. There are so many other credit unions who really care about their customers and treat them with respect and honor instead of having an attitude when you ask for service like they do at fedex credit union. The people who work here seem to feel like their customers owe them. the attitude is, oh no, here comes another one. No empathy just really smart alec like attitute hurry up and get off the phone. The way they speak to you, the tone of their voice. Like they are the king and you are the servant. You know when the frontline of a company is behaving this way, you know it trickles down from the top. It seems to go unchecked as it is the norm every time I call, the behavior is the same. I'm done. Closing my account as I am no longer putting up with abusive customer service.

Non existent customer service. no one you can talk too to get problems resolved .After endless phone calls finally sent in address change on the payment form TWICE! and they STILL can't correct the mailing address. I don't think anyone at this CU knows how to add 1+1.

My experience with Fedex Credit Union was terrible. After banking with them for 10years I had the worst experience ever. April 23,2021 I was in a terrible car wreck and my wallet was destroyed. I went to the bank a week after being in a coma for 3weeks and tried to get a new card so I can get a rental car, they inform me I had too many cards replaced and I would have to have the card mailed to my house. After a week later I call to check the status of my card being delivered and they inform me I can't have a card until 6 months. That experience forced me to cancel and use Navy Credit Union.

Very difficult to deal with if you’re not in Memphis. Constantly shutting down debit card at big box stores and gas stations in Arizona and Florida when other credit unions and banks don’t do this. Failed to send replacement ATM card when existing one expired. Don’t always call when you ask them to. Inconsistent security policies in taking money out of account. Overall difficult to to business with.

Please do NOT consider banking with this credit union! They have a lack of communication with their customers. I was told that they have too many customers to call one, really. Well it’s my money so why not. I should’ve listened to my co-workers because they warned me.

If you are a FedEx employee please don't waste your time joining this credit union. So many obstacles to even find out what rate they will even give you. I am also a member of a local credit union in town that will give you a very close rate based on just your credit score. I would honestly say that it was useless joining the FedEx credit union.

I opened an account to determine my eligibility for a Home equity line of credit (HELOC) since the FedEx Credit Union would not calculate my eligibility unless I was a member. I opened a $50 account and was soon rejected for a HECO. FedEx would not take into consideration the net income I make from a rental property worth nearly $500,000 with a more than 50 percent equity ownership. They said it didn't count in their income formula. However they did count the mortgage on the same property towards my liabilities. I called three other credit unions and each said they would count the rental income as income. I was nearly instantly approved for a $75,000 HECO for 30 years with SCE Credit Union. Then FedEx started taking $10 a month out of my account for non-activity. I called to close out account and after I was put on hold for 20 minutes, they would not cancel me over the phone. They sent me a pdf I had to print off, fill out, and send back. I thought this was an unnecessary extra step.

My wife and I got our loan through the FECA credit union and it was a semi-smooth process. I had never gotten a car loan before but they helped me through the process by helping me get the right documents and everything I needed. It wasn't as easy as a normal loan that you get through a dealer but my loan had a significantly lower rate which was better for me. I wish I could pay using online bill pay because my wife has to take the check to our nearby location to pay the bills. Overall it was worth it but I would probably look elsewhere before I sign a loan with them again.

I was really impressed by the way Dan handled my credit card situation. At first I thought that he wouldn't know how to solve my problem since he worked at FedEx. I always thought of the stereotype of FedEx that they were bad and annoying. I was surprised to see that he know his information really well and was a helpful guy. I got benefits on my credit card because of this man. I was able to get benefits such as 5% cash-back and also got many benefits from buying groceries and other items. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
