I Get Paid to Text Men

As many of my fellow Zillenials (the cusp of Generation Z and Millenials), I am on TikTok. I love that app and it’s a great way to get my brain off the pandemic, the world may or may not be ending, woes. On my FYP, I scrolled down last week and came across a video of a girl showing screenshots of an app and screenshots of daily payments. Some were about $35, other payments were over $75, some almost $100.
I immediately paused the video and read the caption. Phrendly. That was the hashtag. So I closed TikTok and immediately began to look for the app online. It was at the top of my Google search and when it downloaded on my phone, it was a discrete soft pink square with a white capital P in the middle. The app claimed that I could have conversations for money.

I was sold. I posted a few photos and made the account with one of my names, Fernanda. I also took a personality test and was asked to use several words to describe myself. I was honest with mine. I put that I was curious, spicy, and flirty. Someone messaged me on the first day.
