I then escalated the matter to the Ombudsman of banking SA for further perusal and after their investigations, my money was paid.

Our banking system is too advanced for most security systems to work effectively, There wasn't much FNB could do to prevent hackers from getting the card cloned, but one could have a 3D secure setup that needs approval 1st

@Lofty_K @techreframed @amukelani_02 How else can they make this safe? Where can they send OTP? Unless the only option is to go to the branch directly. The issue here is iPhone security being cracked. It compromises a lot of things, not just the FNB. Emails, Apps, Etc.
