Ford ETIS?

Does Ford's ETIS VIN lookup still work or is it just me?

I can still log-in, Still have saved VINs, but the only one I can actually see all the build options for is the last one I accessed the last time I logged in (over 6 months ago).

For some reason the vehicle info page is stuck on my last lookup. If I try to enter a different VIN, or swap to a saved one, all I get is an error.

If anyone it's still working for wants to lookup 1FMFU18LX4LB48174, see if it came with a limited slip rear diff, & post that answer, feel free.

i have no idea what ETIS is. but if you click on the VIN in your post it will open the FTE VIN decoder.
and it does not show this vehicle having limited slip rear differential

The VIN decoder on this and most other websites is useless. It's not accurate at all.

Op, if your truck is older than 10 years it's highly unlikely you'll be able to pull any of that info from Etis.

I don't know about that, every vehicle I ever checked on it was spot on

I hear ya there. I tried the one here. On two different Expeditions.

They both came up as an Eddie Bauer edition - which only one might have been.... maybe.

& one came up as having a 3.31 gearset - When the decal code of "H6" meant it had a 3.75 limited slip.

I get the same error if I try to pull up my wife's MKX from the historical VINs. & that's only 8 years old.

Yeah that decoder shows my truck as an XL and it's an XLT, I bought it new 8 years ago and I'm getting a web page error over at Etis as well. They may be implementing changes and/or upgrades. Not sure.

Indeed, I use it linked thru asbuilt hacker to get all the info I want on a vehicle, it's like having the build sheet in hand.

Ford ETIS was killed off, it has been slowly phased out since 2017 and died in 20. It was replaced by the FDRS.

FDRS is only compatible with 18+ vehicles, what are tech's suppose to do with <17 vehicles in their shops? Or are you saying all of ETIS information has been absorbed by and only accessible via FDRS?

It is my understanding everything was moved to the global FDRS. Now there is some exceptions as Ford is no longer supporting 2002 and older vehicles entirely, I expect this to continuously roll but 20 model years seems more then sufficient.
