NEW Dell 3650: Initialization Problems

When I sign out I occasionally get a "black screen" with a small white box in the center. The top of the box reads "Sign-in process Initialization failure". Under that it reads "Interactive sign-in process has failed. Please check the event log for details". There is no way to check the event log since there is no cursor for any options.  Therefore, I have to REBOOT the computer.  Pls help

Hello,

Please confirm the operating system that you have on the system, as it could be configured with windows 7, 8.1 or 10. If you have windows 7, you can use the link below for the MS hotfix for the issue.

if you have windows 8.1 or windows 10 you can try the startup repair option

for startup repair refer www.dell.com/.../en
