For the past year I have been harassed by *************************** to buy these products. I finally gave in after this entire book of goods she sold me of guaranteed weight loss and a 100% satisfaction guarantee or my money back if I was not satisfied with the products. Needless to say I am not satisfied with any of the products and was told they are *** approved which was a lie. When I called last week to get my money back the women I spoke to told me there is no money back guarantee that they do not stand behind their products. I told her I had gained weight using the R3 Starter Pack and she said their products are run by a ************** and that they are just the seller. After being transferred to three different departments and speaking to three different supervisors I was told they would not give me my money back and I had to go back to the women who I purchased them from and the ** group. I asked her flat if they were *** approved and she said "I think, I am not sure but I think all of our products are." How do they not even know?!?!?! When I reached back out to ****** she was nasty and accused me of trying to bad mouth Melaleuca because I had signed on to be a jewelry consultant. Something I was in talks about well before I even thought about purchasing these items. She grilled me about every item I put in my mouth and then chastised me for weighing myself before I was done using the products. I immediately filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company and they said they need to give them 15 days to make it right before they will take action and to call them back on 4/16. I called Melaleuca again today 4/8 to give them one more opportunity to do right and I was told they need to research and gave me the run around. Other people need to be warned to stay away from this organization and their sellers. They are fraud. They want to get you to buy into this pyramid scheme using any tactics necessary to scam you.

I placed an order March 2nd. The order was processed and thw money was taken out of my account. I'm suppose to place a monthly order but since I was still waiting for my precious package, I did not make another order. They said they canceled my first order that I picked out individual products I needed in, gave me a "credit" and then sent out a "back up" order. That I owe 86$ for the new order but have a 76$ credit on my account for the order I made and picked out myself.

I placed my monthly order back in February. A few days later i noticed a second charge on a different credit card for what they call as a back up order because according to their customer service department the order should have been placed by noon on last day of the month! I told them multiple times within three separate conversations to cancel that back-up order, they insisted that they can't cancel a back up order, that they would send me a *** return lable to return the product. I canceled my Membership with Melaleuca on March 4th, I received the back up order on March 15th, within three day i sent the back-up order back to them. I noticed today on another credit card (this card was never saved on their website) statement that they charged me for the back-up order. They went through months and months of my orders till they found a card that they could charge for my back-up order. When i called customer service today they stated that they could not refund me that they had not received my back-up order back. I explained to them that it's not okay to just charge a card without permission, but they seem to think they can. This issue was not resolved, i was told to call back another time to see if they received the return package, they can't refund me till they receive a package i mailed back almost two weeks ago. I will never deal with this company ever again!! Customer Service are like little gremilns who tell you fantasy stories to get you off the phone. I just want my money back for a product i never ordered and never wanted in the first place.

What was not clear was I was signing up for an auto ship program.Over a year ago I wanted to cancel and searched the companys site to find any way to cancel. They dont make it easy to find. I contacted them. They sent me a form. I faxed it in and mailed it as directed and ** still getting orders I dont want. I want this to stop immediately.

With a customer service email not replying for 24 hours, I called the company to have the order placed on hold (fresh raw goods) as I would be on vacation out of the Country and needed to have it scheduled for when I was back home. The customer service folks are smiling assassins and one told me that the order was going out Monday, so I didn't see why he couldn't postpone it and after my request to cancel it was denied, I requested a manager. The manager told me that the order was actually going out today and couldn't be rescheduled or cancelled. The bottom line- this company is HIGHLY UNETHICAL, chaotic, confusing and they're not willing to postpone a delivery of a customer for 6 or 7 days, to keep a customer to spend money monthly and grow a downline, so I reported the incident to *********** and have cancelled my card with a new one on the way and when the payment 'posts', I am disputing the charge. FRAUDSTERS!

I want to use my $25 loyalty dollars on my next purchase, but they are saying I have to buy a certain amount of products to do so. Im not a member anymore because you shouldnt have to buy a minimum amount of products, and you dont get free shipping as they exclaim. You get a credit to put towards your next purchase. I just want to be able to use my loyalty dollars on a purchase. Im already paying higher prices for the products because Im not a member.

I am rejecting this response because whether Im a member or not, I should still be able to use my loyalty dollars that at I accumulated as a member. I still plan on buying products from the website, but not as a member, as the company requires a minimum purchase every month, and I do not need many products from your company all at once.

A friend introduced to me to this. I signed up thinking I would only get charged $1.00. Not knowing it's some "back up order" auto ship thing. They tried to charge me on a card that was closed, yet still sent the box. Then bugged me for payment. I never opened the box nor did I want the box. I called to cancel and they said they would send me the labels but never did nor did not tell me I had to sign a form to cancel. Then they're going to charge me $20 ($10 each) to send these boxes back I never wanted. They also PROMISED to refund me for the boxes, but not the shipping. THEY SHOULD pay for shipping. Amazon doesn't charge to send items back and it's so easy to return something, by dropping it off at **** I can't cancel like an Amazon subscription or an online subscription. The customer service lady was getting sarcastic with me when I asked why can't we just click a button to cancel online, she replied with "I'm sorry I would be upset too but I don't have a button to cancel it." I have to be placed on hold for 20 MINS before I get transferred to the next agent. why do I have to call in and get transferred to someone else? I REALLY WOULD LIKE A REFUND for these boxes and the shipping asap. They told my friend who also cancelled there is no charge for shipping it back. YOU GUYS ARE LIARS when you say "its easy" to cancel. NO IT'S NOT EASY TO CANCEL. If it were easy to cancel, we could click "cancel subscription" on our account or CANCEL ACCOUNT. Not have to PRINT OUT A FUCKEN PAPER, sign it and then take a picture of it and send it to you folks. C'MON !!! Other places you can just click, type and click SEND.

We recently found out that there were 4 fraudulent charges to our **** through this company dating back to May 25, 2023, Our bank refunded the first 3, but because it went so far back in time there was some sort of time limit on what they would give back. The 4th one was not covered. I contacted the company through email, and spoke to representatives twice. The first one confirmed that they did not have our names or address in their system, which they would need in order to verify the billing address of the card used. I gave them the exact amount of the charge, and the last four digits of our card that they used. Both times I was told that the representative would research the issue and get back to me. I never heard back from the company.

My husband lost his job in January of this year. He still does not have a job. Both of us are Disabled Veterans. myself being a senior. Our neighbor, fellow Veteran *****************************, approached us and told us she had something we could both do to make an income based on our specific talents. We've been conned by ********************* before, including Melaleuca through *************************** in *****, ** so we were skeptical. We cancelled our membership with him because he runs his business like an Amway business and we were turned off. We did like many of the products though.******* convinced us that Melaleuca is different, being ************************** that ***** was in violation of Melaleuca's practices and she painted a picture of a business of something prosperous and money saving. By prospecting us, she violated our *********************** Covenants that strictly prohibits this type of activity in our 55+ subdivision. We agreed to join only because she portrayed the business as something that didn't violate our CCRS. We weren't the only ones in our neighborhood she targeted. Does Melaleuca condone this type of behavior? I thought Melaleuca was supposedly an honest company. ******************************* Cowboy Wealth is still very active in Melaleuca, so apparently Melaleuca is okay with deceptive practices of it's Marketing Executives.******* stressed the importance of attending convention in May (2023) in **************, **. We were hopeful this could save our finances as she advised it would. She promised us she would help us make our first $1,000. We had to use $1,000 from our savings to attend, and bought tickets for next year, being seduced by the ****** trip, of which we eventually didn't qualify for, even after doing everything taught to us by her and Melaleuca. Some of our friends have distanced themselves from us after discussing Melaleuca. She has become a person in our community that most do not want to associate with because she constantly prospects people for Melaleuca. She pretended to be our friend, but it was only to sign us up in Melaleuca. Is Melaleuca okay with this type of predatory and deceptive behavior? Does Melaleuca have any idea what kind of psychological damage is caused when a person betrays a friendship as she has done, to two Disabled Veterans both suffering from PTSD? How can anyone in this company sleep at night knowing that you perpetuate a business model that preys on the vulnerable and delivers NOTHING?We haven't seen that first $1,000. The most recent bonus/commission check I received from Melaleuca for our son's account was a measly $3.26 when he ordered the same amount in his last order as he did previously, yet Melaleuca paid us only $3.26. The check should have been about $25.The products are not even healthy. I've brought this up to Melaleuca before, and was ignored. Apparently Melaleuca is okay with boasting being The Wellness Company, yet offers products that are NOT healthy! A lot of the products are great, yes, but they can be purchased elsewhere, that doesn't demand a monthly obligation, or made for less money. Melaleuca boasts being a ************************* Company, not an MLM, yet the *** says they are an MLM because their business model resembles an MLM. Melaleuca, please stop lying to yourselves and the public by dancing around the fact that you ARE AN MLM!Our sponsor lied to us. Melaleuca lied to us about what kind of company it is. Both continue to lie to the public. I've contacted Melaleuca before about getting a refund for the Convention/Gala **** tickets as we can't afford another trip to ****, (my husband still doesn't have a job) nor do we want to spend more time and energy with a dishonest company. I was told the tickets are non-refundable, as it is printed on the back of the receipt, but I don't understand why, and an explanation for why is required by me of Melaleuca. No refund for tickets we can't use now is an unethical, and a dishonest way of doing business. By keeping the money we paid in good faith to Melaleuca for the tickets, and not having compassion on our financial hardship thus adding to our pain, Melaleuca sends a strong message that they don't care who they rip off. Melaleuca has the chance to prove themselves an honest company by refunding the $476 to us. Not a transfer, as ***** at Melaleuca told us we could do. He said we could find people to transfer the tickets to and pay a $50 transfer fee. We've tried that, and know of no one who will buy the tickets. It should not be put on us to find people to buy the tickets and then pay a transfer fee when Melaleuca lied to us about its business model and we have cancelled our membership with them. That is more Melaleuca taking advantage of us. They have lied to us, and we feel they owe us a full refund. I'm appalled that Melaleuca allows this behavior.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Melaleuca has refunded the money for the 2023 Convention/Gala tickets we purchased at this year's convention.  I thank them for their "gesture of Good Will."  I would still appreciate an explanation for the reduction in our final **************** Check, however from our experience with these MLM companies, I think I know what the answer will be, and it wouldn't solve the negative feelings I have about them.  As far as the return of products I am dissatisfied with; we are past the 90-day Refund Policy date, so I will have to accept the monetary loss and re-gift the item, since it is unopened.  The other item is defective, a pump sprayer that won't spray, and is not worth to me paying the shipping to return it, plus the hassle.  I have my own sprayer that I am using for the cleaner, so I will let that go.

Thank you, BBB, for resolving this issue for me.  I appreciate everything you do to help the consumers who have been wronged by companies who take advantage of the vulnerable.

      Sincerely,

      *********************
