How to Log Into GroupMe on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to sign into your GroupMe account when you're using an Android phone or tablet. You can access your GroupMe chats on any Android using either the free mobile app or by visiting GroupMe.com.

Using the GroupMe App

  1. This has a blue icon with a white word bubble in it that can be accessed from the apps drawer.
    • If you don't have the app, you can download it for free from the Play Store or see this method to learn how to log in with your web browser.
    • If you want to sign up for a new GroupMe account, see this wikiHow.
  2. You'll see this option unless you're already signed in.
    • If you're logged in but want to switch to another account, tap Sign Out (it's in the menu pane that appears when you swipe right) and tap Sign In.
  3. You can sign in to your GroupMe account with Microsoft, Facebook, Google, or your email.
    • If you select Microsoft, you'll have to sign in with the login info you use to sign into your Microsoft account.
    • If you select Facebook, a window will pop up asking for GroupMe's permission to connect to your Facebook account. Tap Allow to complete the syncing process.
    • If you select Google, a window will pop up where you can select your Google profile and enter the password associated with it and tap Next to finish the syncing process.
    • If you select to sign in with your email, you'll need to enter your email address and create a password.
  4. Once you're signed in, you'll arrive to the GroupMe dashboard.

  1. Open your browser and go to https://groupme.com. This will direct you to GroupMe website.
    • If you want to sign up for a new GroupMe account, see this wikiHow.
