How to Log in to Discord on a PC or Mac

This wikiHow teaches you how to sign in to Discord when you’re on a computer. You can either download the desktop app or use the web version in your favorite browser.

On Desktop

Open Discord. Depending on your computer's operating system, this step will vary:
- Windows — Click Start
  , type in discord, and click Discord at the top of the window.
- Mac — Click Spotlight
  , type in discord, and double-click the Discord result.

Wait for the Discord window to open. Once you see the login form appear, you can proceed.
- If Discord opens to your home page, you're already logged in.
Type your Discord email address into the "EMAIL" text box at the top of the form.
Type your Discord password into the "PASSWORD" text box at the bottom of the form.
It's a purple button at the bottom of the page.
If your Discord account uses two-factor authentication to confirm your login, type in one of the codes from your Discord account and then press ↵ Enter.

Go to https://discord.com/ in your computer's web browser.

Click Login. It's in the upper-right side of the page. Doing so opens the login form.
- If you see Open here, you're already logged into Discord. You can click Open to open your Discord server.
Type your Discord email address into the "EMAIL" text box at the top of the form.
Type your Discord password into the "PASSWORD" text box at the bottom of the form.
It's a purple button at the bottom of the page.

Actually, there is a web extension for Chromebook called "Discord for Chrome" and if you download it, it will bring you to Discord unblocked.
