As creepy as this may sound, it is true. Spyfly gives you access to anyone’s public records. With a few clicks of your computer mouse, you can know basically everything about a person, including their contact information, address and criminal record if any. You can easily find a long lost friend, verify information about the new employee and on the flip side, know if your neighbor is the sex predator on the loose.

You get access to public record information about anyone, and follow-up notification if anything changes via e-mail.
Once you register with Spyfly, you can monitor up to four people, and get an alert if a criminal moves into your neighborhood.
Spyfly also takes care of your loved ones. You can feed information about your family into their system and once one of them takes a French leave to Belize the authorities will know.
How Much Does SpyFly Cost?
At the time of this review, Spyfly will cost you $29.97 a month, or you can choose a quarterly charge of $39.97. A half-year subscription will set you back $49.97 and a yearly charge amounts to $59.98. Either of these bundles comes with a free 7-day trial. They will charge you $1 initially, and if you decide against your investigative innuendos within 7 days you can cancel your subscription with no further charges. If you decide to extend your subscription beyond 7 days, you will be automatically charged whether you spy or not, with no refunds; tough luck! To cancel a subscription, you will have to call their customer support.
How Do You Cancel A SpyFly Membership?
If you want to cancel your SpyFly membership you need to call their member support department at 1-800-831-9235 or 1-800-349-9058. If you don't give them a call, your account will not be canceled and they'll continue to charge you for it.

Spyfly gives you some pretty affordable options to get your snoop on. A yearly subscription of $59.98 is cheap given the information you have access to. All this information can be retrieved anywhere, including your favorite bar's bathroom.
2. Positive BBB Rating
If you're one of those people that believe in the Better Business Bureau's rating as the be all and end all of determining a company's legitimacy, you'll be happy with SpyFly's rating. At the time of this review SpyFly's rating is an A+ which is the best a company can have.
3. Convenience
Using Spyfly is simple, all you need is an accurate spelling of their first and last name, and voila, you get to know about their dirty laundry. You can make unlimited searches, with the results being e-mailed to you immediately.
SpyFly Complaints
Like all companies SpyFly has it's share of complaints or areas of concerns you should be aware of before making any decisions.
1. Is that all the info I get?
People that have used the service have complained that the information provided about a person is often incomplete. If you are looking for the juicy information, you might want a more direct approach and approach their jilted ex-spouse.
2. Hidden Charges
Your $59.98 might not be enough to get what you need, and you might end up spending an extra Benjamin to know what only the feds and personal lawyers know. This ties into the first complaint.
3. No refunds
Given the nature of this service as being informational, SpyFly doesn't offer any refunds. So you better know within your 7 day trial if this service meets your needs or not. Because you ain't getting your money back folks.
4. Difficult cancellation process
Apparently it's going to take some resilience and a bit of luck to cancel any Spyfly subscription. Some have complained that they charge your card and make it a mountain-climb to cancel. As such you're automatically signed you up for a full month charge, then use technical jargons to slow down cancellation. This may have changed recently but it was a common complaint in the past.
So Is SpyFly Legit and Worth It?
At first glance, Spyfly seems like a great service to snoop on people. Yes you will get information, but probably not enough to satisfy your needs. The results mailed to you will be half-baked and then conveniently prompt you to add cash for a ‘’detailed’’ report. They will essentially throw you a bone, and then ask you to come get the meat if you can afford it. And be careful with the free trial as many have complained that it can be really hard to cancel.
So yes SpyFly is legitimate from a technical standpoint. But it may not be as comprehensive as you want. Maybe by the time you read this review this will have changed. Either way now you know some of the pitfalls. Feel free to watch my SpyFly Youtube video for more information.

Summary
Spyfly will provide you some basic information when you pay. But apparently to get the real information you want requires an upgrade or using a different service.
I have honestly never come across SpyFly before. I didn’t know that was a thing, nor have I ever thought to do that.
How accurately is this information really? Are you not concerned that you could get false information due to lack of person information if you don’t know the person well enough? it is not uncommon for more then one person to have the same name.

As I mentioned in the review above, folks have complained the information isn’t all encompassing or accurate in some cases. There are definitely plenty of other background checking services online.
SpyFly sounds interesting but I was hoping there was a less expensive program out there. I am a single parent so I am always keeping an eye on my surroundings for my son and I to be safe. Do you recommend any other programs or is SpyFly your top choice?
I don’t know SpyFly seems pretty reasonably priced to me. So I don’t know if you’re going to find a lot of options that are significantly cheaper. I haven’t really reviewed any other company like this yet. But I will in the near future and include them on this site.
Dang, that is so crazy what this app is capable of, by far one of the more interesting articles I have read in awhile. While you can use this to find very personal information about someone, imagine a serial killer or something of the sort using this app on you? Either way, it’s a very powerful app! It does seem that the company behind the app does want to scam you a bit with the hidden prices you mentioned earlier, however!
Have you ever tried whitepages? It’s like a reverse phone number lookup, however I usually only end up finding the location (I used it one time when I got a very suspicious phone call). They put a paywall up telling me to pay for more info.
Yeah unfortunately anything that is designed to be helpful can also be used maliciously. There is little we can do about people’s intent. Some people are definitely turned off by some of the pricing stuff. I’ve never tried whitepages. I’m not really big on snooping on people. I just use my best judgment and common sense and it’s helped keep me safe for the most part for all these years. lol But I definitely see the value in services like this. Thanks for chiming in.

Thanks for bringing spyfly to my attention, It`s sad to know that someone has to pay as little as $29.97 a month to snoop around some other persons private life.
I mean, a nasty ex who you`re hiding from just has to pay and all your info is available to them.Sounds dangerous to me in a way.Is this some private eye in a way?
Now funny you should mention that spyfly is A+ rated by BBB, a recent documentary I watched showed BBB to cash money from people to grant an A rating and should you refuse to pay,they will ruin your reputation by giving you a D or whatever rating, so let`s hope this spyfly thing is a failure that will soon run out of business.

I don’t think everyone uses services like this for evil purposes. But that said they can if they want to. But given the complaints I laid out it doesn’t sound like the information provided is all that complete. So that may be a saving grace in this. And don’t get me started on the BBB ratings. People live by them but they don’t realize the BBB is a for profit business and has been accused of selling ratings by other businesses. So I take their ratings with a grain of salt. I’m glad you feel the same way.
Personally I would never use SpyFly it is creepy to think that this even exists. I could maybe understand if it was a gimmick but at $29.97 a month that is a waste of money in my eyes. I just think it’s something you would probably just use once if it all. But that’s just me.

This is interesting. I didn’t know SpyFly was a thing. To be able to gather all that info on anyone they want, perhaps they have an affiliation with federal security or is that just how good technology has gotten?
I wonder if it also provides deleted social media accounts or old emails that people don’t use anymore. Now that would be some scary technology.
I’m assuming a lot of the information they access is available in public records. It definitely doesn’t give you every piece of information as people have complained about it. And I don’t know of any service that can find deleted social media accounts and emails.
Scammers and spammers
This website is a total scam. Not only is the information shown on the website inaccurate and dated (sometimes by at least 15 years), but this company will also sell the email address you use to sign up to their website to marketers and advertisers (without your consent). The email or phone number that you use to contact spyfly to opt out of their website will also be sold without your consent. I had to shut down my main email address after signing up to spy fly because I received over 100 spam emails per day after signing up to their site. This company is clearly linked to a spam network and I don’t think their tactics are even legal.
Avoid at all cost.

Did background check on someone and it came back zero criminal history then checked on another site and they did have criminal history, seems very inaccurate, could be false on others I’ve done check on, I plan to cancel and use a more credible site.

Not scammers
My opinion about spy fly is that the info you can get is no bullshit. I was fortunate enough to know someone that paid the full amount to use this site and did a check on myself as well as my boyfriend. The site might have been missing some info but the info they had was all true no bullshit. I can say that much so stop saying it scammers because it’s not.
