I had many problems getting my E-Mails last Saturday and I spent considerable time with my personal "Expert" and to no avail. I rest all passwords and deleted Outlook and re-loaded and even did a System Restore. When I decided to check my e-mail files on Host Gator your Tech Nigel discovered my account was inactive due to lack of payment, and I was on Autopay for many many years. Anyway, Nigel took care of processing a payment and helped me reset all my passwords. Thank you Nigel for the awesome tech support!!!
In a word - sticktoitiveness!!! I had a conflation of issues, including billing due to a troubleshooting transition due to policies - a most complex scenario - and through some phone call interaction and chat as well, I was able to work through it -- and it means a lot to me as I am working on a special project. I hope that really matters in the world.
has up to date documentation or support to help with issue you may be stuck on. I've used it for years and they keep the same design for the most part without changing all the time like some other services. can't complain as everything works and their support is always there to help you figure things out.

I couldn't afford my hosting anymore and forgot to turn off the auto-renew. The customer service was gracious and kind with me refunding the auto-renew and cancelling my service. If I can afford hosting again in the future I feel hostgator is a great option due to the customer support.

Paid the first year but unfortunately could not set up my website online. The auto renew of the subscription was on, wich it was not iniciated by me and they charged my card a big amount of money for a service that was not in use. After my attempt to try and get the money back because i was not using the service anymore, the reply was that it was not possible.
Very bad service.
